Eagle: They're in the finals.....Speaks for itself
Re: eagle | 7:02 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
Grapes a little sour are they? A friend of mine who was at the game (not a Wayne fan) told me Wayne played as bad as he had seen them play all year and they still doubled your score. I, for one, am glad those six Wayne seniors are graduating so someone else will win state next year. But let's give credit where it's due. To suggest that a team with a 50 game win streak is "no big deal" seems a bit out of touch with reality.

That was the worst game I've seen a Wayne team play in over three years, when these seniors were freshman. A similar Wayne team walked through a much better West Ridge team to end last season. You got Wayne's absolute worst game, yet the outcome was still never in doubt. I wish you would have seen the team at their best, but that's an opportunity they won't get back. I'm sure they'll take a third consecutive title, though.

Congrats to the rest of the West Ridge team, good season.

Don't count us out next year. We bring some quality guys back, expect to get a significant move-in, and hope to get some talented guys who weren't with the team back in the program. I can also promise that these players won't be outworked. Panguitch could also make that claim and obviously has an incredible program.

Way to go Badgers!!!! THREE IN A ROW!!! WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT and we are all so proud to watch you achieve it. Again you showed what we all have known all along. That is great work ethic and team playing and respect. This is what heros are made of and you make us proud. All of you are great boys and go out and represent our school well. Don't let anyone take anything away from what you have earned. We love you and look forward to watching you all become the great young men you have shown you are. Just remember these are the friendships you will have for a lifetime. Way to go, we could not be prouder of all of you. Go Badgers!!!!!

ha ha ha wow, no big deal huh? ya thats what I would say too after getting knocked out. State usually isn't a big deal so why would playing the best team who has gone fifty straight be a big deal either? good point ha ha
