Good game Lone Peak. Everyone with a brain knows you should be 3-0 in region. And by the way, it was Tanner Rasmussen who had the interception, not Johnny Curl. Who doesn't go to Lone Peak. Probably AF. Anyways it was good to shut those Cavemen out. Those AF players really talk a lot from what I could see. Nothing new. Too bad they couldn't back it up. 23-0.
talk alot huh?! Right...yup
Well, im no doctor, but from what I can remember, PG spotted you 14 points in the 1st quarter last week and came back to beat you. I'll revise your statement for you. Anyone with half a brain knows that PG is 3-0 in region play and LP is 2-1. Get over it!

Nice shutout Lone Peak, but I don't understand. Why does McGeary keep trying for a touchdown on 4th down when he should go for 3? Three times in the last two games he's made a bad choice and gotten burned, coming away with 0 point when he should have gotten a field goal. Last week it would have meant at least a tie with Pleasant Grove but the Knights lost by three.
Is this just inexperience or something else? Somebody give me a good explanation.
joey haws was really gifford and the other guy was quide chapuis afs roster you read.

Hindsight is 20/20....if they had scored on any of those 4th downs you'd probably be praising the coach for the confidence he has in his offense. The field goal kicker is also quite inexperienced and Coach McGeary doesn't feel too comfortable with him kicking....and any offense should be able to get 1 yard on any play. Those are a few explanations to your question.
Lone Peak is the best team in the State, ask AF...Go Knights! Go McCain-Palin! AMEN.
Lone Peak is not the best team in the state! Just ask Timppview, Bingham, or PG! Go Knights! Go Obama-Biden! AMEN!
Lone Peak is a legitimate team...and when they go to the playoffs, people better look out, because no one is giving lone peak the credit that they deserve
Wow.... No class
actually AF players didnt talk one bit of trash we did the trash talking.. but we backed it up
best in the state???Did you cross midfield vs. Bingham before Peck put in the JV in the 4th Q? Bingham may not be as good as Layton and Alta is better than both. For that matter, Timpview owned you. Both TV and Bingham had more TDs than you had 1st downs. Come on.
"any offense should be able to get 1 yard on any play." is how one writer explained why the head coach has chosen to go for TD's in 4th and goal rather than a field goal THREE times in two games.
Seems to me that McGeary shouldn't have so much confidence in his offense if they CAN'T get a yard in 4th and goal situations. The field goal kicker CAN and has kicked PAT's from as far out as the offense was in three cases, but the coach went for the whole ball of wax and got a goose egg.
I think it's time McGeary realized it's better to go for 3 in cases like that. Most seasoned head coaches do. AND it would have meant a tie in the PG/LP game which might make the difference in the play-off seeding.
Sounds like a kicker's mom wrote this one. Let the guy coach. He's doing a great job. And a tie? This isn't soccer.
