A mother and son working together, how sweet.
You're saying the neighbors knew, but not the husband?????
What is this world coming to?
indeed that the husband is not aware of what's been going in the home. Must be one naive husband.
Darn, now these drug seekers are going to start flooding my ER again with vague pain complaints that require thousands of dollars in work-ups, because they can't just ask for what they really want. It is convenient for all of us that they had an alternate place where they could just go and pick up what they needed without troubling the rest of us.
they must have had some stocks go bad and had to make ends meet. they must have been all the talk
Ahhhh......Mother of the Year. Incredible!
Are you REALLY an ER doc.
What a weird point of view that you would rather have people getting drugs on the street, than seeking medical help.
They shouldn't be getting drugs from you or the street. If you identify a drug habit, it is your medical responsibility to ensure that patient of yours gets medical help (rehab).
If it is that bad, then I feel for you. But don't be enthused when you see somebody getting their drugs off the street instead of seeking professional help.
God forbid that you actually show some compassion...YES I too work in an ER, and that is something many physicians lack. What medical ethics do you practice that put money before patient advocacy?
Shame on this woman! It is her who creates these child drug seekers who will eventually come into YOUR ER.
How ignorant you are in failing to recognize the causal chain. Whether it is a medical emergency or not, they still have a problem.
I thought they got arrested. I saw them yesterday afternoon back home. What happened? The neighbor asked one cop at the 7-11 on 2300 East last night and he said something happened and they were not arrested. Why? All the kids at brighton high seem to know this house. What happened?
25 year Pharmacist, and I can't figure out how people like this get a hold of a schedule 11 substance like Oxycontin. There are such tight controls of its distribution, Rx writing and dispensing that this boggles my mind. Where and how do they get the medicine?
Does anyone know if they were also offering flu shots?
Thank you to those neigbhors wise enough to recognize this situation and then actually report it.
Thank you also to investigators and law enforcement for helping to rid our community of this problem. Keep at it.
But the police did not arrest the mother and her son. According to them, they never went to jail. Especially since neighbors are seeing them at their house. What happened? Thanks to the cops for doing this but this seems to be smoke and mirrors if no one was arrested. I thought the chief of police said he has a zero tolerance to drug in our city???? Please explain!
I am a student at brighton high school and know many people who purchased from jase. I as well think its ridiculous that the father "didn't know" it was going on....some communication. I think its so sad...Jase was in a comma for a very long time, and now that he's out he is in jail. some life.
sometimes people need a wake up call, did you know the family is all sober and now HELP alot of troubled people through service work, maybe you critical people should look under your own noses, after all, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"
I have known Mike, Luanne, Jace for a long time. good people. Please leave them alone. conciter where the pills came from. Dr.Pilgram had them, especially Jace addicted. Poor them.
They are all sober and doing great and are good people getting it together. Leave them alone and before you point fingers make sure your hands are clean!
