Haunted Forest in American Fork was amazing (if expensive). It takes you nearly an hour to walk through and you're on your toes the entire time. I thought some parts were gruesome, but overall I had a blast!

Avoid Castle Of Chaos. That was to be the worst haunted house I have been to in over 30 years! It brings a whole new definition to the word "pathetic"!

i didn't see it on the list, but avoid the scream asylum in provo at all costs! it's $15 and it only lasts about 15 minutes; it's a waste of money!

Another scare | 1:55 p.m. Oct. 16, 2008
On a little different vein, if you want a serious chill, check out Jekyll & Hyde at Rodgers Memorial Theatre, although tickets are scarce ('cause a lot of people are going back 2 or 3 times). If you're faint of heart, you don't want to sit in the front row.

It runs through October 30th, though I've heard they might add performances since it's essentially sold out.

Asylum 49 is probably the scariest place I have ever been. It's the only haunted attraction that has ever freaked me out. The fact that it was an actual hospital where people died just has you on edge to begin with and everything else is just icing on the cake. It's for SURE worth the drive out there!!

Avoid the Haunted Ghost Train!!! | 11:53 a.m. Oct. 21, 2008
Don't do the Haunted Canyon Ghost Train in Provo Canyon. Our family did it last year and it was the WORST haunted/Halloween idea ever. It was slow, cold and very, very few scares if any at all. It was somewhat cheap but with 6 of us it added up and it was a HUGE waste of time and money

Scared Stiff | 2:42 p.m. Oct. 22, 2008
Castle of Chaos is the scariest haunt I've ever been too! They can touch you and get "blood and guts" on you. Talk about freaky!

They also have 3 levels of scaryness which was nice for some of my pansy friends.

Castle of Chaos is overpriced for how little you get.

Haunted Forest was the longest, least crowded, and best value of all I've seen so far. Both Castle of Chaos and Nightmare on 13th were a disappointment.

Haunted Forest takes over an hour to go through, and keeps the thrills and scares up. Defginately worth getting the combo pass and going through haunted manor as well.

Regard to Haunted Canyon with Heber the Creeper - I heard it is better than last year with some addition and improvements. It's a different experience than Haunted Houses if you're looking for one.

In regard to best haunted house I recommend Nightmare on 13. They are always good. The rest seem to be a gamble and Castle seems to be copying them with the same look.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
