Great game great effort and great luck right up to Nov 22. This years BYU UTAH game will be a great game.
Re: BCS No Way | 4:25 p.m. Oct. 3, 2008
Coastal Carolina? Central Michigan? Yeah, they compare favorably to Oregon State.

Here's a question for you...did Penn State or Georgia score 11 points in 1:29? Didn't think so...great analogy, brother.

By the way, tell me that the blocked extra point against an inept Washington team wouldn't have merited an equally jubilant celebration had the game been played at BYU.

just shut up already...

It was a great game against a better opponent than you have played all year - even if they were 2 and 2 they just came off beating USC last week. Let's all be honest neither Utah or byu could beat USC. So enough of trying to down play our victory - your jealousy is so transparent it makes me laugh.

So please keep your "good win" and every other comment to yourself.

Is it me or does it seem like byu fans are obssesed with Utah football.

Didn't the BYU players rush the field at Washington and the game wasn't even over.
Re Clarity | 5:05 p.m. Oct. 3, 2008
Since when do 3 Sakoda Field Goals equal 12? you got a great Education at BYU. BYU has a tough test at TCU also. I hope they win out and so does Utah as both will be top 10 when they play November 22. Utah 34 BYU 31. Its not BYU's year again. Not going to happen. Just because BYU blew out 2 really bad teams does not mean they will Blowout Utah.
Washington has beat no one this year, At least OSU beat USC which was number one and still ahead of BYU in the Ranking the last time I checked.
In regards to rushing the field | 5:32 p.m. Oct. 3, 2008
So many comments from the zoobs about "why rush the field?" "You were ranked, they weren't" blah blah blah.
Well, the Rush-the-field-Or-No Committee assembled immediately after the victory and conferred over the rule book. Of course, in most Rush-the-field scenerios, the rushing takes place after a Season-ending victory, or an immense upset of a superior opponent. However, it was pointed out that it is also appropriate to rush the field after a significantly emotional and surprising victory, as fans tend to feel an ecstatic sense of euphoria in such a setting. The committee did, however, rule that it would be inappropriate to tear down the goal posts.
Morons. Talk about desperate nit-picking to find some way to spoil a great victory. By the way, that same committee has already issued a standing "rush-the-field" go ahead for November 22nd.

Any time a team scores 11 points in 2 minutes and change to come from behind and snatch a victory from the mouth of defeat - the field should be rushed in a wild celebration. "Just Win Baby" applies to the Utes as well as those 70's Raiders teams. And it was great to hear the Oregon State coach comment at the half about how physical the game was ... when was the last time you heard a coach from a more 'prestigious' conference say that about BYU ?

The headline should read "Official BS".
RE Lost in DC (BSU BRONCO) | 10:02 p.m. Oct. 3, 2008
Lest our friends in Boise or Hawaii forget, Utah played in the Fiesta Bowl when schools from non-BcS conferences had to be ranked in the top 6 in the BcS rankings - Boise and Hawaii never got that high.

Lest we forget who did Utah play in the Fiesta Bowl? Thats right a Pitt team that should not have even been there. BSU played a real team and beat them in one of the most dramatic Bowl games ever. Hawaii played a great Gergia team thats why they lost if Utah would have played a caliber of a team like Oklahoma or Gergia they would have finished 11-1. Before you downplay BSU win in the Fiesta bowl why dont you look at the opponents each team faced. The 2006 BSU team would beat the 2004 overatted Yewte team!!

And by the way After the way both BYU and Utah looked this week BSU will be in the BCS again. At least BSU will beat the Aggies by more than 21 points!
re: So | 11:19 a.m. Oct. 4, 2008
I think you're missing the point. I think only the most crazed BYU or Utah fans would dare claim that their team is #1. You then dismiss the PAC 10, the Big East, the Big 10, and the ACC. I agree with that contention as well. That in my opinion makes BYU, Utah, TCU, Tulsa, and Boise State just as eligible to discuss BCS possibilities as a team in the PAC 10 that was so clearly dominated by the MWC!

I disagree with you when you say they are overrated. Both teams should be clearly ranked. BYU is where they are based on last year's record kind of like USC started at the top of the polls in 2004. I don't think USC would've played for the title if Auburn and Oklahoma were ranked above them. They ended up beating Oklahoma, but they wouldn't had that chance if Oklahoma and Auburn started ahead of them. BYU is in that situation, but unlike USC, they will drop due to the BCS bias. If Vandy or OK State keeps winning games, expect them to pass BYU and UTAH even if BYU or UTAH go undefeated. We need a playoff!!!!!
