Hey this sounds great.. Maybe once it goes out of business they can convert it into a stadium seating movie theater complex. That is what we really need.

Mike, you obviously don't understand this area of the metro very well, at least when it comes to fitness. This is a facility that is being greeted by the many fitness residents of Alpine, Highland, Cedar Hills, and North Lehi/American Fork with tremendous enthusiam. As for myself personally, I can't wait for this facility to open.

I personally can't believe that anyone would think this would go out of business. I currently drive 25 minutes each day up to lifetime fitness. I think we would all benefit from a health club in this area. Where do I sign up for a membership?

public rec.

I think this eliminates the "need" for a public rec center in this area.

RE Stefani: she has to drive 25 minutes because the 10 minutes it takes to get to the AF rec center is just too taxing!?!?!?!

Concerned

This guy Frank tried the same thing in Southern California and made a lot of promises, took in a lot of investment, and never came through. They had all the talk and newspaper stories, as well as the claims of all these elite coaches and athletes. Never happened and it left a lot of people in the community bittered. Then made a lot of promosies to one of the high schools to get a facility built and then fled the state. Watch out to see what happens here.

RE Concerned: what city in So Cal?
