KUDOS to these groups in trying to stop the water going to Vegas. Too bad Huntsman doesn't step up to the plate to stop this also

While this methods are clever, they cut both ways. If bad projects can be stopped by a fish, then so can good projects be stopped by a fish.

Clever is not a good policy.

As I understand it ... Utah's population may double again by the year 2025.If the experts are to be believed, we'll be out of water by then unless severe cutbacks are implemented.?? Why not simply plan on putting our own pumping system, just inside our Utah borders ... give the "basin" what they need and pump the rest ( as Nevada plans to do for Vegas) to the Wasatch Front, servicing other Utah Regional needs on the way. That way we'll likely have enough water to keep on growing, for the good or bad of the State.

It would be nice to take a regional look at the picture instead of the Politians not looking beyond their own state boarders. We really need to look at the watershed ramifications of water rights both above ground and below ground for the little we understand of them from well pumping actions. Maybe this action will help get the states and communities there.
