I hear there are openings for teachers all throughout Utah.
The Business/Medical School Trade School I graduated from about a year ago, should be doing well and have an increased enrollment. However a lot of that would require student loans which are Government backed either in whole or in part. So maybe not so much.
Now maybe Americans will start to do jobs that Americans "will not do" and Illegals will not come here because there are just No Jobs.
If we cut Welfare and entitlement programs in order to pay for the Bailout. Raise the Min retirement age from 62 to 67, with full bennies at 70, after all we are living longer, and we cannot afford the Gas for the RV. If we wait a few years and Work, we will still be able to go on the retirement cruise although we will not be able to do much except sleep.
If we quit paying people who are collecting "Retirement" after 20 or 30 years and then going to work at other jobs. Retirement should mean retirement. You could Retire after 20 or 30 years but you have to reach a certain age first. So you cannot collect a Retirement Check at 38 or 40 like the Military.
Too many school districts, local and national governments and government agencies have offered way too generous of retirement benefits for too long. How many 50-60 year-old golfers do you know who worked for one of these places. Not only do they start collecting benefits from taxpayers at an early age, but they stop paying Social Security taxes on earnings (their earnings become "un-earned"). We have made progress in recent years pairing back on these 1970 style benefit packages but the private sector moved away from these expensive benefits years ago because they could not afford them. With general taxing power, governments have kept them too long - and are slowly bankrupting the taxpayers at the expense of government. Exactly the reason we threw the tea into Boston Harbor.
Yeah become a teacher while you can.....LOL.
Any teacher that sticks with it for 30 years should get all the benefits they deserve!
30 years of 12 year old kids = $10,000,000 worth of service!
Yeah, boy, those scammers who work for 20-30 years, then expect to be PAID according to circumstances under which they were hired. How cheeky!
Next thing you know, executives will only be paid 300 times what the rank and file get instead of 500 times. Sob. Is there no one to speak up for the poor CEO?
Stop whining, Anonymous and Rich Retirement Benefits. You made a bad career choice.
It's awesome to know that people can finish their diploma no matter what age.
