I know nothing of the sort, RC. I believe the FLDS when they tell me that what you relate is hogwash. You just don't listen. I never said anything about me pulling out a gun either. I said (I'll take it a little slower this time so you can keep up) that people like you who insist on inflicting your standards of conduct on others will always be in confrontation with people like me who insist that it is a parents' right (in whatever religion, country, or planet) to raise their children without government (or your) interference. You hold your banner high and pretend to speak for the innocent children who have told you time and time again that you are full of hogwash and don't have a CLUE how they are being raised. But, you won't listen, because you "know" otherwise. I only express indignation toward the indignant and ignorant - of which you are the perfect personification.

And, I pass on the tank, never had a use for a bullet magnet.

first of all - I NEVER insisted on "inflicting" standards on anyone.

I was discussing my distain for the servitude brought onto the kids by mindless parents following stupid rules that help no one but keep the children from progressing through life.

You think they are just fine. I think the children are being severly held back from reaching their potentials. Difference in opinion was never a reason for violence, at least for me anyway.

And if you TRULY believe these kids have the same ability to choose what they want to do when they grow up, then you are not thinking it through. Yes - the parents have a right to do as they are - never said they didn't.

Is it fair for the children? That's the question I've ben posing - and one you refuse to answer. You just keep saying the parents are allowed to do it.

How is a child to decide what they want to do with their lives when they don't have a clue what's out there? Even the Amish restrict reading within reason - they allow their children to learn all about everything. The FLDS don't - why is that?

The children of the flds are well adjusted according to Texas MHMR RC........the children were tested by CPS for education level RC..........the childrens academic achievement has been published RC.....they don't have to live up to any of your standards RC......only your children have to play by your rules RC.......geezzzzzzzzz ease off the personal attacks and get back to trying to raise other peoples children....

Didn't personally attack anyone, even when Phil was going to cap me with his magnum.

and "live up to my standards"? what standards?

and why do you just keep repeating educational info? If that's all you think this is about, then you are in fact missing the entire picture. I've said it so many times, that's hard for me to believe you've actually missed the entire point, but that's the impression I get..

You babbled incessently about the mis educated, undereducated, and uneducated kids RC......I presented EVIDENCE of educational achivement by GOVERNMENT agencies.
You ranted about no college for the poor darlings...I cited state certification for teachersas well as COLLEGE EDUCATED flds.
You take a flip comment about a gun battle and make people out to be something they are not,
The flds is accused of breaking the law but to you the law doesn't matter......then you go back to the poor Abused uneducated kids when we have already beaten the education issue to death and even CPS has 393 kids back with their parents with no court oversight.
The boy that cried Wolf......RC...ever hear of that fable?
Just in case you haven't noticed there are 393 non issues at home with their parents and the children are meeting state education requirements or else the state would step back in and break up the homeschool party.
So deal with your imaginary gun battle for a while......it's getting funny. Bang bang.

Seems to be a common theme RC..........everybody missing your point. Take a hint - maybe you don't really have one.

of course both of you would misss the point. You have blinders on and are only concerned with the parents' rights. Actual thinking individuals who have posted here clearly understand what I am saying.

it speaks more about your tunnel-vision than it does about my discussions.
