Dan Quayle to Sarah | 2:21 p.m. Sept. 28, 2008
Sarah is a lot like Dan Quayle was in his thinking's. Bank failures are caused by depositors who don't deposit enough money to cover losses due to mismanagement. When I have been asked during these last weeks who caused the riots and the killing in L.A., my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame. We shouldn't have to be burdened with all the technicalities that come up from time to time with shrewd, smart lawyers interpreting what the laws or what the Constitution may or may not say. Votes are like trees, if you are trying to build a forest. If you have more trees than you have forests, then at that point the pollsters will probably say you will win. The global importance of the Middle East is that it keeps the Far East and the Near East from encroaching on each other. Republicans have been accused of abandoning the poor. It's the other way around. They never vote for us.

2:21 p.m:
Are you quoting Dan Quayle or Sarah Palin? Or just making it up? As for saying stupid things, I'd say Joe Biden has a big jump on Palin, saying things (since he became the vp choice--there are many before that) like

1. Hillary Clinton would be a better choice for vp than he is
2. that FDR spoke to the American people on the television in 1929 (Roosevelt wasn't president, and there were no TVs);
3. he asked a paraplegic to stand up for recognition during one of his speeches
4. he criticized McCain for supporting the govt buyout of AIG, just when Obama was giving support for it (and said that "Joe should have waited" to say that

These are just a few that have slipped out in spite of the MSM's efforts to ignore them, and instead comb through everything about Palin to make her look stupid and a hick.

It's no wonder Biden is hardly mentioned in the news. Every time he opens his mouth, stupid things come out.

So, according to Veedub, Palin should be the favorite in the VP candidates' debate this week. I guess we'll find out, but I do notice Texas columnist Kathleen Parker calling for Palin to drop off the ticket.

Thre is a world of difference between faux pas, even constant ones and a deep gap in basic knowledge about the world, the economy, the war, domestic policy, the law and politics in general. When did we become a nation of voting for the most mediocre candidate we could find and then celebrating this by shouting with glee -- "I like her, she's just like me" - I don't want anyone like me. I want brilliance. I want intellect. I want someone who has been around the world, twice and doesn't sleep from studying best how to serve me and my interests. This is not Gov. Palin. Sorry

Under Palin's premise, if one changes a tire in a hospital parking lot, it qualifies one to perform brain surgery and plant themselves in the hospital administrator's office. Her disturbing need to call librarians to see if books can be banned is shocking.

Any American wouldn't need to ask a librarian, they KNOW it is illegal....and her own party claims it is why our troops (and their victims) are dying "over there".

Hiding her intellectual constipation from the press gives her time to train a t-rex to wear a leash and a gun totin' Jesus t-shirt to take walkies on our White House lawn.
