why do you mention that west's offense "improved" in the second half? cottonwood was playing 2nd stringers.

Cottonwoods games have lacked excitement. Don't get me wrong. I'm a Colts fan. The only exciting game so far was against Layton when we were on the edge of our seats. Can't wait for Highland and East games. Keep up the good work Colts. You truly are a talented team with alot of talented coaches and staff behind you. Go Colts!

It is clear that West's best player is their QB Wray they need to have him throw the ball 80% of the time to give them the best chance to score.

The only team that could beat Cwood is Timpview. That match up is going to be a slugfest!

I know that last year was last year and the year before last year was 2 years ago and that this year is this year, however, don't forget that TV kicked CWood's butt last year and the year before? Look at the scores. They WERE NOT close.

Can TV do it this year? Who knows. But why is everybody asking if TV can beat CWood? The REAL question is can CWood beat TV this year.

i think cottonwood could win this year, because i think the teams are even on the talent level. however, timpview has a HUGE advantage with coaching and schemes so although i think cottonwood can be timpview, i don't think they will. they play ten times, timpview wins 7. my opinion only.

I hope to see a CWood TV matchup in Rice-Eccels, but CWood needs to get by very good East and Highland teams the next two weeks.

CWood only reloads next year. Huge number of Varsity players are Juniors. Junior class has not lost a game since 8th grade.

Oct.3 is going to be all over for the colts when they play highland!!!!

If Highland can score 40 on CW then they deserve to win. They will have to score at least 40 to Beat CW as they will put up at least that many on Highland. CW put 40 on Layton who is one of the best defensive teams in the State. Just look at their scores, and they are the better 5A teams, Nridge, Jordan, Davis. Highland will not be able to stop CW pass and run game. 3rd place in Region is not such a bad spot to be in.

Can't wait for Timpview to play against Cottonwood. Cottonwood has just as many talented coaches, although some of the players on Timpviews team have dad's who coach for B.Y.U. I geuss will see what happens on the field. Go Colts!

between Cottonwood and Timpview it would be Timpview, not because of the talent difference in players but at that level coaching wins championships. Look at Timpview's staff. They have great coaches all through their program and years of years of experience. They have five or six former Head Coaches and two or three of them have won state titles themselves as Head Coaches.

For Cottonwood to win, they will need their "A" game and their coaches will have to step up and truly match wits with the Jedi Masters.

Highland will score enough points to win. Your defense isn't that good this year, sure you've beaten some good teams, but you've given up a lot of points, in doing so, Highland's defense is better than yours, and their offense is just as good, if not better.
Romero better be quick with his passes, because he will be rushed or sacked, most of this game. Highland will neutralize your run game, and, when all is said and done, we will defend our home turf, and secure the W.

Highlands defense is NOT better. last time I checked Cwood has given up only 69 points this year compared to your 111. Not to mention no one has scored a point on cwood in region play. Better bring your A game Highland.

When you've played, no offense to Murray, Cyprus, or West, 3 of the weaker teams in Region 6, and are tallying points allowed, to prove your point, that's plain ridiculous!
Highland could have shut out Granger, and Olympus, but our starters were sitting the bench, the second half, of both of those games. So come on? You surrendered 36 to Layton, and 23 to Pine View?
The most Highland has allowed, was 26 to Mountain Crest.
No worries though, when we take the field, we'll let our play do the talking.

you actually remember who was on the posts last year? i think thats a little obsessive don't you? look cottonwood has played a harder pre-season with both the runner-ups in 5a and 4a and won to both. lets be real, ill give you murray but cyprus and west are the middle class of region 6 and cottonwood has been able to keep them scoreless even with our starters out for the 2nd half so don't praise yourself for something other teams are doing better. stop calling out cottonwood because your pride will only bring more of a reality check then east did. Where do you think Doug C-wood would go after last years loss? why would he get back on and make excuses after losing and just sound like an idiot, he has more class then the highland fans that get on after a loss to explain why they lost.

You may have gotten the lucky coin flip last year but it didn't do you any good since you got rocked by bonneville in the 1st round, remember how c-wood was the only team in region 6 to get past the first round? so i would really suggest putting some thought into things before claiming absolute victory over cottonwood. I just hope the game lives up to the hype.

Highland or East has no chance at beating Cwood. East had a hard time beating a very poor Snow Canyon defense team this year and Highland lost to East. Good luck East or HIghland, only in your dreams will you beat Cwood.
