Coping with dementia

Don't forget to list Huntington's Disease as one of these early-onset degenerative diseases to look out for. Dementia symptoms are some of the first to be evident.

A comment about medical alert tags: most medical alert tags don't have enough information. I got my husband, who is on dialysis, and has other health issues, a "thumbdrive" which has all of his current medical information on it. I can update the information as needed and it is clearly marked "Medical Alert" with red crosses and it is clipped to his belt so that if he is injured any medical personnel can break the label seal, plug it into a basic PC and get the information they need to help him. The cost is minimal (about $20)but the peace of mind it gives me is invaluable.
