I can see the wheels spinning in the heads of the politicians on both sides of the aisle. They are having a hard time deciding whether to try to work together and try to do something good for the country, or let things totally tank so they can blamce the other party.

What was I thinking!? Of course, they are working hard finding ways to spin the disaster so that it was the other party's fault. Partisanship takes priority over every other concern.
