If this were about child abuse, they would indict Angie Voss.

Cats

These constant attacks on Angie Voss are getting really pathetic. Isn't it interesting how the perpetrators of crimes just don't like the people who have the courage to try to stop them. Obviously, no one is convinced by these silly attacks or one bit sympathetic.

The Wheels of justice grind slowly, but they do grind. Thank goodness these criminals are finally being indicted. I hope these women and children will eventually get some justice and some help. One cannot go on flaunting the law and victimizing innocent children forever. Eventually you get caught.

I hope that something can be done to stop the sickness that has been going on in the FLDS community for generations. Child rape and physical abuse cannot be tolerated.

I am glad to see that they are being charged. Sometimes good comes from bad. I see that this sends a clear message...STOP HAVING SEX WITH CHILDREN REGARDLESS OF YOUR EXCUSE!

common sense

Grand Juries dont just frivolously indict anyone, they have to have good evidence.
These men sexually assualted young underage girls, and should be indicted.
Bigamy is against the law also. So they are indicted for that as well.

Cats....quit overstateing the situation. "Constant attacks" implies more than what was written and Voss has not been mentioned for quite a while.
Why not just let out a juvinile WHOOPIE... or stick to the atta boy Texas mantra that oozes from this site as the inditements are announced.
I am sure that the investigation promised by Meisner will include Ms. Voss ......then we will surely have constant attacks.
Oh darn Cats.....I forgot about the ex-flds habit of overstateing everything.
Just how many bodies have been found in the desert recently?

If child abuse were what you cared about, you wouldn't be in here sowing doubt and confusion around a process that needs light and truth instead. :/

I'm sympathetic with the FLDS rank and file and support legalization of polygamy. I also think that the leader of the FLDS committed sexual abuse of minors, and am rapidly coming to the conclusion that at least some of those who led under him went along with it or joined in outright.

The conspiracy theories surrounding this case are silly. In any legal investigation involving the separate activities of several hundred people, I would expect there to be months, if not years, of investigating. I would expect a piecemeal trickle of indictments if and as indictable offenses were indicated by sufficient evidence. I really don't think any reasonable person who thinks about the situation would have or could have expected anything else.

I would also expect FLDS members who cannot doubt their leader without doubting their faith to be in denial of the facts of the case and sowing fear, doubt, and confusion to derail the process.

Where?

Where is our Attorney General? None of these crimes are happening in Utah? No wonder the rest of the country thinks that we are all polygamists in Utah. The greater the sun shines on Texas for prosecuting these criminals, the cloudier it gets here.

It is more than cloudy in texas.......the sun hasn't shined here since the state made a business out of arresting innocent people.
If Utah wants a used tank just ask our AG to sell you ours.....I hear we are getting new Bradley fighting Vehicles for he upcoming raid on Houston.
