Let me be the 1st to congratulate Cottonwood, the only team to have beaten Layton this year. You guys continue to impress me. Your offense is suh-weet. Your D is starten to sharpen too. Taking out the game you scored 41 pts on us, we've only give up 34 pts in the 4 games Layton has won.
Here's to you CW. Good job. Will look for you guys to be in the big house this year.
We can play in the early game and you can play in the later game on Novemebr 21st
How does that sound?
Classy comments Layton fan, let me apologize for C-Wood Fan's lack of manners
I don't think it was meant that way. I read it as Cottonwood playing in the afternoon playoff game and Layton after.
I don't think he meant anything bad, Just that CW will play for the Championship and so will Layton as they are in different classifications. Thanks for the post TBLF
The Colts and the Lancers bonded that night up in Layton. Great High School game played by both teams. The Colts and The Lancers would like to play again in a championship setting.... maybe next year when they are both in 5A. Cottonwood was very impressed with the Lancers ability to manage the game and their ability to not give up. The game would have been over at halftime against a lot of teams. Go Layton! I promise Cottonwood is rooting for you!
parents and cyprus fans when are you going to wake up and realize the cottonwood high football team is not the same team you played in little league. many of these cottonwood players played in other little league programs through out the salt lake county and even out of state. you do not have the same players who won little league championship. players have gonve to cottonwood, skyline, bingham, hunter and other program. UHSAA is killing small school football. The schools mention above are the best teams money can buy. So parents and fans get behind your coaches and team, make them feel like something special.
Go Colts. Kami you are a good player...
Why would Kami not think he is a good Player? I think he is doing great and he is only a Sophomore. It is only going to get better for him over the next 2 years. Defense is starting to Rock with the Offense. This may just be the Year for CWood to get it done. Just keep focused and don't take anyone Lightly.
Good Game SJL at Cyprus last week. Keep up all the good Play.
The Pirates, who fell to 2-3 on the year, were shut out for the third time in four weeks. Cyprus is 1-1 in Region 6, while Cottonwood moves to 2-0 in league play.
Cottonwood held the Pirates to six total yards seven through the air and -1 on the ground in the first quarter. Offence running like ORANGE PEELS AND SUDS.
