The fake will is what did Dummar in. Well, that and the way it was first "found". Oh yeah, how his story changed about he got it. And the pilot who "fell asleep" in the brothel.

It takes an absolute suspension of logic to believe Dummar's story. I feel sorry for him. It's possible that he's told the story so many times, even he believes it now.

Funny how Hughes was in a ditch in a desert, yet he managed to remember all the details about Dummar later. Much later.

The movie was a fantasy, but that's what people remember and believe about Dummar.

You're right, Lee. It's sad. No one's life would be better if they had 2.5 billion dollars. In fact, it probably would have ruined Dummar's life if he'd won the gamble.

I don't think "going unpunished" is exactly synonymous with "not being richly rewarded." Dummars may or may not be a fraud, but either way he is claiming the most exorbitant cab fare in history!
