West side pride? Wow, ya since we are talking about sophmore football, how bout' that 35-0 butt kicking against Cyprus, and the two pick-6 againt you also. I was on that bus and it is not how it seems, all 3 parties were equally guilty, the girl was way into it and did as much as my teammates did. Given that it was innapropriate, all or none should have been punished. And although I hate the player that was supsended for 2 games, he quit anyways and now our all-state running back is out until we play East.

so we're the judgmental parents?? Ask the Soph FB Coach who overheard the conversation and reported it. Ask the coaching staff as a whole who agreed it to be serious enough NOT to ignore it. Ask the School admin who then notified us, the girl's parents. Obviously more things occurred than what the paper reported. Sorry We are dealing with minors. And the offenses crossed that legal line. Ask the Oly administrators who said this would not be tolerated at Olympus High School. The police officer of the school assigned a case number but we decided not to prosecute FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. This is hard on everyone involved---I respect those young men for their apologies and other hard work. AAHHH speculation. So the reporter didn't write the WHOLE story--what's new? And sorry--but my daughter was not "into it"--she told them they were stupid and turned to leave. The high school administrators Took a stand--after so many disgusting reports about a few other local teams, perhaps you should applaud Olympus High School for actually doing something decent. You can deride me and my family all you want--it doesn't change facts. Move on---
