Fools! Stop paying premium price for tickets and sports gear. Its you who are
helping fuel this outrageous salaries! Nobody deserve 10 million just cause they
are good at throwing a ball into a metal rim. 80,000 a year is PLENTY who a
bunch of guys who run around and keep us slightly enterained.

Mieer spends plenty of money.
He just spends it the wtrong players.
Players that will never win you a chamionship, like boozer and malone and stockton ( and I was big john stockton fan, but he would never score 30 or more when the team needed it),
or over-paying players like ostertag and AK.
or keeping player around who are not great at their positions, like brewer who is supposed to be the shooting guard but can't shoot. ( and what team has won a championship without a star shooting guard who can shoot?)
The honest truth is the Jazz have never had the players they need to win championships I except deron williams) because the owner is too hooked on the players he has.
The only player on the team worth keeping is deron williams and perhaps AK and milsap and sometimes okur(when he chooses to play)

I don't understand what I am reading. In the end you don't have any
defensive stalwarts on the team.
Deron is a great offensive talent but he doesn't exactly stop the other teams PG's from getting in the lane. Okur has NEVER played D in his life. People seem to be giving him a free pass. AK plays good week side d but get's torched on a regular basis (and he has no HEART). Brewer means well but he can't stop most of the 2's in the league. Harpring can't play D without fouling. Boozer is not a great defensive player but he puts in effort and hits the boards. I think Utah fans need to simmer down and stop whinning so much. You have a great team and have a solid ownership. Just keep plugging away and the championship is going to come your way.

So i think we should keep:
Williams(DUH), Brewer, Memo, Matty, Price, Mo, Millsap, Korver, and Koufos. (At least these players)
Boozer and Kirilenko didn't really help us in the playoffs. Korver will be better now that he is healthy. I don't think that Fesenko is going to help us out that much. Watching him play in the RMR didn't really impress me. I also think we should get rid of Miles.

Your right, I'm not a Jazz fan. Why would I be, give me something to believe in but no, thats not going to happen. The Jazz will always be a good team but never a great team. Karl and John almost made it but in today's market, unless you are drafted to Utah, no one will come. Sure Darian is a great player but it takes more then one and the Jazz have no one. You are just a single minded delusional blind fan who doesn't see past the nose on your face. We are in too small a market to make a difference and it will never change with the current owner. Period.

I say get rid of Jerry sloan and his 6 million dollar
contract ..he is the most over rated coach in the
NBA, I know a lot of you love him, but the Jazz
have no championships, and every year there is
a problem and the its either Jerrys way or your out.
I dont agree with the Jazz management keeping old
grey hair. We need some new blood in the coaching
aspect,and we have needed that for a long long time

Anonymous people in Utah love Hustle thatsd why we love Harpring and thats why
everyone loves Milsap. I dont think he has the skills to be an all-star like
Boozer. I really think Boozer will play better D this year because of all the
crap thats been said about him and its a contract year. JWR firing Sloan would
solve a dang thing with money for players. Its called a salary cap if you go
over it you pay a tax. Sloan's contract has nothing to do with it, its
strictly for the players.

Hey jay, you really think the Rockets are going to amount to anything this
year? Ron Artest destroys any team he plays for (just look at the Indiana
Pacers and the malaise he left them in - they STILL haven't recovered).
The Jazz will play the Rockets again in the first round, and beat them once
again. Then we can all see T-Mac shedding tears up on the podium after jacking
up ill advised fadeaways in the fourth quarter - AGAIN! As for the Jazz's
current dilemma, we almost have to brace for Boozer leaving. If he left LeBron,
it's almost guaranteed he'll chase the money to some run down
franchise. Millsap might not match his offensive production, but we all know
that the Jazz are fairly stacked in terms of scorers. They need Millsap's
decidedly better defense and hustle, because championships come from those who
are willing to lay everything on the line to win a game on the defensive end of
the floor. We all know Boozer doesn't do that. Then use the freed up cap
space to get an athletic, shot altering center to back up Memo while Koufos
develops.

After watching Boozer play after the all star break and what little he played in
the post season, and i think the Jazz have more to gain than they will lose if
Boozer opts out.

One thing everyone needs to remember is the Jazz offense is an inside-out
system, predicated on having a low-post offensive threat near the basket to open
up outside shots. If The Jazz lose Boozer, will Millsap be a big enough threat
down low to keep other teams' defenses honest? If he can be shut down
being played just one on one by his defender, our vaunted Jazz offense will not
look nearly as good as it's been. When Kirilenko was out for a couple of
games, it appeared to me that the rest of the team stepped up their defense and
the whole team defended better. So maybe if AK was gone the rest of the players
would make a bigger personal commitment to playing hard defense.
So I think it would be way better to keep Boozer and trade away AK for an expiring contract during this season so there's available space under the luxury tax when free agency BEGINS.

The Jazz can't aford to lose Boozer. Like him or not, Boozer is a big part
of Utah's success the past couple of years and the Jazz need him on the
floor. IF the Jazz go cheap and lose Boozer then say good-bye to the playoffs.
It's a tough business but it is the NBA and small market teams like Utah,
Minnesota, etc.. have to either pay up or fade away.

1) The Spurs have won many Championships and they're a smaller market. They got a core group of players and surround those players with unselfish role players. It works!

Boozer is not worth getting rid of half of our bench for. We can esily recover
from his loss with NY's 2010 pick. It will be a high one, trust me.

The reason Boozer sat on the bench in the olympics is because of the
international game itself we were playing matchups and had a pretty good olympic

I think things will work themselves out. If Boozer works hard and has an Allstar
year and he wants to go somewhere else I wish him the best. The Jazz got him
for free everything he does for the team is just icing on the cake. If he dogs
it this year then no one will be offering him big money anyway so there is not
problem.

Boozer's loyalty only goes to who will pay him the most cash. He may be a 20-10 guy, but he will not shore up your defense - which is key when the playoffs turn into 1/2 court basketball. A very overrated player in my opinion.

The only way Miami has enough money is to not resign the Matrix. And if they
let him go they will only have around $11 mil a year. We are paying boozer more
than that right now. He may resign with us for around $13.5 a year. If there
is anyway we can get rid of AK that will give us the money to make everyone else
happy.

i look for booz to play like it's a contract season--at least, i hope so,
because that would be a great hurrah to go out on. if jazz win the west because
he wants to up his value, that might be alluring enough for him to stay.
however, i look for him to coast a bit then demand top dollar. i doubt i would
miss him. enjoy miami! as much as i love ak47, i think it may be time to trade.

CSKA of Moscow wants AK. Let them buy AK out so we have enough cap room to
re-sign everybody. Korver, Harp and CJ would be just as good as AK at SF. We
would also have the cap room to take on a contract and maybe get a draft pick

The NBA has moved away from the lumbering oversized centers and power forwards,
AK if given the chance to play the 4 spot is the new prototype power forward.
As shown in his All-star year, AK plays best on defence when he plays close to
the basket. His numbers the last few years have been down because he is stuck
on the perimeter, and can't help defend as easily. Trade Boozer for either
a solid perimeter defender to play the 3, or a guy that can play the 4/5 spots,
and let AK play the way he can play. Remember the Houston series this past
year, when Boozer and Milsap were in foul trouble, they played AK at the 4, and
he TORCHED the Rockets.

When AK was happy he loved Jerry Sloan and said so. Both Stockton and Mark
Jackson were allowed to involve him in the Jazz offense and the next year Arroyo
also ran plays for him. Why would Andrei be left outside or need to create his
own shots when Williams takes over?
And Williams scores the 15 points that Andrei used to get. Jerry Sloan is in charge of the team and obviously approves of Williams playing that way, why
wouldn't Andrei be upset?

Here one for you all. The only reason that the Jazz were so successful with
Stolkton @ Malone is that they both would play defense because that is what
Shalon always pushed. With the D came the opertunity for fast breaks and easy
scores. With that in mind I would give up a little bit a offense for more
defense. Unfortinately Okar has the ability to have good defensive games but he
also can have bad defensive games. with that said I would keep okar and trade
boozer he always has bad defensive games.
