Legacy means no stalling for morning commute

I was stuck between two cars that were side by side and who drove all the way from 215 to Farmington. They had several cars behind them that wanted to pass but these guys would not let anyone pass.
All in all, however, the trip is better that before when there was daily gridlock. Now if we can get the speed limit up to 65 mph and add a couple more lanes, it would really be a good addition to the state's system of transportation.
I'm so glad they finally got it built. NOW, if UHP could come up with a policy to not give speeding tickets to anyone going less than 75mph, we could get around that stupid 55mph speed limit the idot mayor and his cronies imposed upon us. How stupid is that? Everyone will start using I-15 again, and we'll end up with the same problem we had.

Environmentalists delayed Legacy four years. That was four years of extra traffic jams on I-15. Those traffic jams caused extra pollution to be emitted and wasted gas with worse gas mileage. How much damage did environmentalists end up doing to the enviorment the past four year with these unneccesary traffic jams?
I get the feeling the goal of environmentalists is to do what is best for their agenda and not necessarily what is best for the environment. That is a shame. That turns liberals like myself away from their cause.
We need reasonable, realistic environmental organzations in this country to push for what is truly best for the environment, and not just be argumentative extremists.
