When researching Orem, they won a state football title in 1987; Tooele won just six years ago in 2002. So anything is possible, right. The game was an enjoyable one, with both teams playing well at times and making mistakes at times. Part of the reason Orem's offense was bad may have been because Tooele played an inspired defense. It was a good win for Tooele and their new coach, Ray Groth, who has a fine staff to assist him. Hopefully, the kids will realize they can compete in Region 7 and pick up some more wins. Good Luck, Buffs.

No Circus

Aren't we all glad we don't have the circus that we had going on last year here at Tooele.

HAHAHAHA Tooele won...

WOW!!! Orem can be the laughing stock of the region just for lossing to TOOELE who maybe should win one game HAHAHAHAHA

Hey just for clarification, That was Thomas Allen # 38 not austin schmidt # 30 that recovered that fumble.

go buffs.

Fumblin returners

I thought it was funny that Orem would try a trick play a second time on the kickoff that had resulted in a lost fumble earlier in the game. Two fumbles on the same stupid trick play. The Orem coach has got to be smarter than he seemed in the Tooele game. Fail the trick play once, shame on the players. Fail the trick play twice, shame on the coach. The bottom line to this game is that Orem walked into Tooele thinking they could just walk over the Buffaloes. I would like to see them try that trick play against Timpview but I know they won't because they take the T-birds seriously. Maybe teams will start taking Tooele seriously now, (ahem Mountain View).

Tiger Blues

Congrats Tooele on a great game. Orem's offense was sloopy all night. Some poor decisions are taking place on the sidelines and in the booth. Coaches should be taking some blame on this one. Again nice job Tooele.

Sorry Orem

Poor Orem I feel bad that you lost to Tooele. Maybe next year... Oh wait you don't play next year. But at least your JV beat Tooele's JV

Coach fan

Tooele made a great choice in bringing in the new coach. He is a Master at the game. Ray Groth is a fabulous coach and will inpsire and bring out the best in his players with the help of his assistants. Watch out for the Buffs-- they will be tough all season!!

Judge Memorial

Congratulation to Coach Groth and the Tooele football program. We miss Coach Groth and all he brought to our program, but wish him the utmost success at Tooele. Go Buffs.

Great job Buffs, Coach Groth and his staff are doing a great job. They had a couple of kids quit but that was not exceptable to the staff and players so the team went to these players homes and got them back. Great job again Buffs and finally coach Hunter you have always done a fantastic job with the defense. Your dad was a great coach also and with what you learn from the staff this year I think you are ready to take the head spot at a school in this state. I hope it doesn't happen because I want you here at Tooele. I have stopped by a few practices and there is very little waisted time. This is a good staff and there are some great kids on this team. GO BUFFS

Haha

T_Birdz run region 7

Uintah

I'm impressed with the fact that the team went to the players house to get them back. That is what a team is all about. Here if a player quits, the staff doesnt care. Last word I heard was they wont beg any one to play. Our coaches only care about a handfull of starters. The others dont matter. Way to set and example Tooele.
