High school football: American Fork staves off late Skyline comeback

Nice work Sparrows!
I think that Bingham didn't just have a bad night against Skyline, they had a bad first couple of weeks. It seems to have taken them until the Fremont game to finally recover some of the attitude they need to be a winning team. By attitude, I mean more concern for the team as a whole.
As for Skyline having more yards on offense, forget about it. Stats don't win games, points do. I've seen games where one team has dominated in every statistical category yet lost.
Not shaking hands after the game is over just shows a lack of sportsmanship. Not that I'm surprised by Skyline lacking in that area. Win or lose, you have to give respect to deserve respect.
"I'm not sure what happened," Knight said. "Roger came over to me and said if he'd known he would have called them back." - If the situation had been bad enough that a fight between the teams was a probability, Roger Dupaix would not have thought that sending his team back out to be an option.
It's true that, in some situations, keeping the teams separated after a game is over to avoid a fight is the best course of action. This, if the above quote is an accurate portrayal of Roger Dupaix's opinion, wasn't one of them. It's obvious that "To shaking hands" is simply trying to justify poor sportsmanship. If the head coaches of both schools thought the teams should have shook hands, your "explanation" is just a poor excuse.
and hunter started the fight and ran at af so stop putting the blame on them
