Without intent to trash talk, I just have to call out the Highland fans who thought that they would come in and kill East. Every year the players and fans say that. Well, this has been 2 years in a row and they are both great teams. Most of the games the last 5 years could have gone either way.

Ram Fan

A hard fought game. Tough giving up two long plays for a loss. Give East credit , they didn't quit after Highland completely dominated the first half.

EHS

Soccer...Tennis...FOOTBALL!!!! and that's just in one week! Highland we own you.

Rams Without Horns

Hat's off to East, you guys played with heart! You guys whipped our butts, up and down the field! East took us to the shed, and beat us blue!

This version of the Highland Rams, is lacking:
1) Good offensive play calling.
2) An smart and aggressive defensive secondary.
3) The desire to make a big play.
4) The ability to adjust to other teams, both on offense & defense.
and MOST IMPORTANTLY, something that East displayed, so abundantly, all night long,
4) HEART!

Which team are you goona be Rams? The team that showed HEART, in wins vs. AF & Skyline? Or the team that lost its HEART, in losses vs. Mt. Crest & East?

No excuses! East you kicked our butts, congrats on the win!

Highland, decide which team you're goona be!

Is that #7 for highland getting any D-1 looks? no offense to highlands QB- but it would be nice to see 7 in an offense that passes more.

EHS fan

Once again, east dominated. Better luck next time rams.

14-7 remember that

Fika Tolu Fan

Great game East! I agree, East outplayed, outhustled and outworked us! East is a great team!

To Highland, I feel a strange sense of deja vu, could we possibly be in for a 2007 letdown repeat?

Great game Steve, Fred, and Mools! Keep working boys!

so lucky

Wow, the third game this season that this east team got lucky. Atleast we know they don't stand a chance against cottonwood, well unless they have more luck than they already have had.

Penny

Coach E (Eldracher) is the man! All the best!

How was that game lucky? Both teams played a pretty good game. Yes east struggled in the first half then cam out and dominated Highland. If anything Highland is lucky for not being called on all those holds against East. Way to go East way to sock it to 'em

Your right,

Cottonwood should own region 6. They are the all star team in the SL valley and timpview is it in utah county. Everyone hates catenwood and their fans cuz they cant win their own talent, East, Highland, Oly.....thats how you win with your own talent

#7 is very good, and only a Sophomore

highland fan

even though i love highland..I've gotta admit..East had a great game! They are a great team and should make an impact on region 6 this year. Even their fans were cooler than ours!

East alum 1990

It's so nice to see EHS winning. When I was there we lost every game my Soph/Junior/Senior season. It's a good thing my class left. They've been good ever since. We did take state in chess.

East Fan

Pain is temporally, but gain in forever. Great job East those extra hills work. Never underestimate anyone. And next time Rams shake hands only one team can win

East Fan

Great game Steve Tuikolovatu (56) only one winner

RE:Rams without horns

You other Highland fans sound like idiots! Choose your side. Sure, East outplayed us in the 2nd half but im not taking my hats off to those morons. I don't even think they outplayed us that much more they just had a major lucky play here and there. Be true to your colors.

didnt see it

did highland not shake hands? what was that post about?

EHS

wasn't it a highland fan that said "we don't see this game as a rivalry, we see this game as a scrimmage to get us ready for reagion." well... this should be a good indicator that you AREN'T ready for region. east owns highland. on and off the field.

Shaking Hands

The Rams did not shake hands because the head coach told them to get off the field. With the East fans running the field he didn't want anything bad to happen, especially because it is a great rivalry. Don't make judgments or assumptions. Even the East coach agreed it was a smart move to get the kids off the field. No worries, both teams respect each other. It wasn't because of no class. Highland should have played better. Oh well! Good luck the rest of the season to both teams!
