3-0 against weaker teams, never prepares you for what really lies ahead. I wish you luck in the weeks to come.

PG Fan!!!!!!

Yeah Vikings!!!! gosh you guys are awesome! good job. i like our offence. little shakey at game one but WOW!!! this game was awesome!!!!

Knew it!!!

Copper Hills is so over rated! They played Payson, Box Elder and Hillcrest! Three give me wins! When you play with the big boys you have to have big boy speed and talent!

Statistically it appeared on paper that they were good but when you compare apples to apples there is no comparison! That say's a lot about the program, didn't they beat PG last year? Looks like PG had some pay back on their minds maybe.

Mighty Vikings

With the losses of both Highland and Skyline, Pleasant Grove should AT LEAST move up two spots in the DesNews top 25, and into the 5A top 5. I feel that PG should be ranked ahead of Bingham, so I am looking for PG to be #7 in the top 25 and #4 in 5A. The Vikings have tough games left with Lone Peak and American Fork. If they prepare for those games like they have for each of the first four games of the season, I look for PG to win out.

We are the best!!! Go Knights, Go McCain-Palin. AMEN.

Not Over Rated

Being at the game last night I was impressed with both teams. They both have a lot of good players on the team. To the previous poster...Knew It!!! You probably did not see the game first hand so shut up! Copper Hills has a good team, OF JUNIORS. They are suppose to have a down year, a rebuilding year, but from the game last night I don't see this team as a rebuilding team. They looked really good moving the ball up and down the field. Take away the turnovers and 4th down conversion and this game is tight. Good Luck to both teams, they should go far!

Contender or Pretender?

I am glad to see that "Not Over Rated" has some school pride. Just for your information, every year is a rebuilding year in high school football. I did see the game first hand and was impressed with PG. Copper Hills loss was not because of the lack of talent or the size and speed of its players. They were simply better prepared and with no other way to say it, out coached. Copper Hills should finish out the preseason with a victory over T-ville next week. The first couple weeks of region play will answer the question, Contender or Pretender.

This is knew it.

I agree with mighty vikings! I honestly think PG is probably the best out of that Region. However, SF has offense to deal with, no defense though. Lone Peak is trying to be formidable and AF is always super huge! I think if PG plays hard and stays healthy they could easily come away with Region 4's Title. However when Region games start is when we really see High School Football!

People ...People...

After watching the Offense execute to perfection...throwing the ball at will....line giving the fantastic QB time...big bruising backs and a speedy tailback running at will...and a Defensive shutout. These guys will run the table unless they get injured. Oh yea LP fan....your AMEN wasnt answered after all the smack you talked about beating Timpview. Guess you have a short memory... and also LP...your Seniors and Juniors have been owned by PG since little league. After losing 20 in a row to them, it wont be different this year. Be proud with a second place finish. And that is a true AMEN.

I wasn't able to make it to the game last night, but it sounds like we had a great game plan on both sides of the ball. Congrats to the players and the staff. Sounds like Coach Sanderson knows what he's doing. PG is consistently putting points on the board (10 against Timpview is more impressive than people think). Match a clicking offense with Coach Brady's lights out D and this year gets more and more exciting. Can't wait for the Brighton game next week.

CHHS Alum

I was at the game last night, and thought it was good. PG did perform very well, and that is why they won. It is, however, disappointing that Copper Hills lost their homecoming, especially for alumni like myself. But, overall good game.

To the Knew it!!! individual, I would say that Copper Hills is NOT over rated. As with any football team, there is much to improve, but numbers and wins doesn't define the quality of a team. The quality is determined by the work and efforts of individual team members, the motivation, and the spirit that is displayed in performance. Win or lose games, Copper Hills will always be champions.

Pleasant Grove, good luck in your pursuits, and, as always, GO GRIZZLIES!!

I did know it!!

I saw a bunch of comments on how CH should be in the top 10. I tried to warn you that you had no chance. I had another post that I called 28-0. Just missed that one. Just so you know you have a few more losses coming. Just be prepared with your excuses about Juniors or the officials etc.

Hey, you have smacked 3 VERY weak teams. Congrats. If you beat PG, you will likely be in the Top 10. Oh...before I forget....you have no chance. PG will put you in your place.

LP Supporter

I wish I could have seen the PG - TV game. Sounds like it was a great battle.

TV killed LP. The size of TV's linemen on both sides and their technique was INCREDIBLE. They certainly don't play like a high school team.

If PG is as good as TV, then LP will have a long night.

However, you never know on the rivalry games.
