Forget it creek........RC turned his ears off a long time ago. You're brainwashed don't ya know.
Those long johns have raised your body temperature to the point that they have boiled your brain.
Now if you just wore long dresses and drove a buggy it would be ok. You could be Catholic and your priests could wear a dress and your nuns would fly......
Even your college education doesn't count in RCs' book of rules.
Besides.....shopping in Walmart is a sure sign of being uneducated no matter how many state certifications you have............lol

"But, there's also lot to not like about that "great big wonderful world" you speak about. I could get along just fine in it; actually, I already do. I'm more familiar with mainstream American culture than you think -- a lot more familiar than you are with my religion."

Your idea of the big wonderful world out there is....mainstream American culture? Wow, that's so depressing.

Looks like a chicken coop. One pecks on another and... So it continues. A lie has speed but truth has endurance. So the end is not yet. When everything comes out on top all your arguing will just be wasted time. Good Luck.

What people don't seem to realize is that people make choices. People chose to raise their kids in their religion. People chose who they decide to marry. People chose to wear the cloths they wear.
In that great big american world people chose to believe in drug use, popular education, devil worship, and sex before marraige.
If people chose to turn off the tv, live in a bubble and not participate in society it is their right. If people turn on the tv and live in american society they have chosen a different bubble.
Noone will touch the religious freedom issue with a ten foot pole but this whole mess is about religion and choseing a path to heaven.....not a degree in a state sanctioned university.

zxcvbnm 10:43am -

You couldn't be more wrong. These people DON'T make choices. Especially the children. The fact that you can't even see that is astounding.

They choose the clothes they wear? You believe that? You really think they aren't told that that is what they WILL wear? You really think a little girl will wear longjohns in the summer without being TOLD to do so?

and your idea of "the great big american world" is "drug use and devil worship"? That's sad. You need to get out more.

Did you really say "people chose who they decide to marry"? So the assigned marriage in FLDS is simply a myth? The girls really chose - of their own free will with no pressure? Your naivity knows no bounds...

too funny.

Zxcvbnm, exactly how much time have you spent in Colorado City?

Traveled thru once......nice place, friendly people.
For those of you that continue to demonize flds I can only say good luck. Continue with your chicken little predictions and Flora generated accusations. Not only is the same old stuff entertaining but the more you accuse flds the more they come accross as innocent.
Seen any missing babies lately? I hear CPS has revised the numbers by one.......why not get a shovel and look in the Arizona desert with Flora and Musser.

"flora generated accusations"? what? I'll assume that's one of the women that wrote a book. wouldn't know - haven't read it and not really interested.

nothing I say isn't freely admitted by FLDS followers. They think it's ok - in fact they think it's mandatory.

I think it shows a total lack of parenting ability and a wonton disregard for civil rights.

but to each his own. as long as they stay out in the desert and keep the dueling banjos out of gen pop it's all ok, right, zxcvbnm?

LOL
