You need a poll for this? The devil himself could run on the GOP ticket and get elected in Utah. If ever there was a one party state, this is it. Kind of like the Soviet Union.

We have the worst Legislature in the country controlled overwhelmingly by Republicans. We have more in common with Russia than we do with the United States. The Russians love one party rule as does Utah. I'm ashamed for the first time in my life of being a Utahan. I'm going to change my address to Sandy, Colorado. Please Utahans vote Democratically in the local elections and let's begin to clean up our unethical special interest bought Legislature and GOP Leadership. If you want corrupt politics, vouchers, and other idiotic legislation vote for our current Legislators. Think before you vote.

What a joke! The Utah legislature is a circus. The average member has no idea what is ethical. They confuse ethical with legal, and won't work to change the law.

We have not been well-served. The Republican party has done a great disservice to the citizens of Utah.

So, once again there are only two political parties in existence. Sheesh. We all know this state will vote Republican, that's why I moved here.

This article would be interesting if they covered the third party standings. With all the dissatisfaction towards the government, it would be more interesting to know what other alternatives there are, and what the rest of the people think about those alternatives.

How many people would vote third party if they thought it would make a difference, and which parties would they vote for. Now that would be interesting.

As soon as a state swings Libertarian, I'm there. Montana looks like it's shifting that way. The Republicans there voted 25% in favor of Ron Paul. Yeah, I know, he ran as a Republican, but let's be honest, he's Libertarian.

The party beliefs have shifted over the century. Republicans are more like the old Democratic Party. Democrats are more socialist/communist. Don't believe me? Go to the Communist Party homepage, and read it and weep. The Libertarians on the other hand represent the old Republican Party beliefs.

Remember President Ezra Taft Benson said to stop supporting secret combinations? Seems few in Utah are listening.
