Does this mean MLS will start paying guys more than $15k a year so teams can develop some depth in their rosters?
...the players union contract is until end of 2009 season. So, at that time, I would expect the Salary cap of around 2.1 million, to increase to 5 million or so.
My numbers are probably off, but you get the gist.
Slow, steady, growth.
I am just glad that MLS and RSL will be sticking around for a long time.
MLS is still undervalued.
How is RSL valued at 7 million when it can be sold for 30 million (probably 40 million)?
Also, how is Colorado losing money still? They have their own stadium don't they? (oh wait, I forgot they are the crapids after all) RSL should be in the black next year.
My guess is the salary cap will only climb to 3 million. There won't be a big jump unless a bigger TV contract gets signed and more teams start turning a profit,
My guess
You read the wrong column. $7 Million was their revenue this year. They are valued at $30 Million.
