Utah Jazz announce their 2008-09 TV schedule

NBA-TV still hasn't announced its schedule, either.
I hate how money controls everything now.
PS I hope there is a lot of games on FSN HD, FSN Low D looks like they are just making the transition from black and white to technicolor.
(this year is gonna be awesome!)
Way to sell out!
In order to watch any sport I have to have all these channels that cost $$ to upgrade. My monthly tv bill will soon be $100 just to watch, add that in with the rising cost of gas and food. Wow! Thanks!
And then they have the audacity to want me to pay a ridiculous ticket price to have a 2-hour bloody nose while watching ants move around on a piece of wood. All the while the athlete is complaining that he needs more money or he's out of here.
I for one am excited about this season. I think the Jazz will fare better this year than last as long as people stay healthy. Having Korver for the whole year and settled in will help stretch defenses, and DWill hates to lose. I'm iffy on Boozer. He won't last here in Utah, but this is a contract year for him so he should put up good numbes. Go Jazz!
Ridiculous!
I'm happy as a clam, now I get the bulk of the games without having to pay for nba ticket.
The excitement about the Jazz that I had for this year has taken a hit.
I understand that the Jazz need to make a profit. I just need to make sure I make more than I spend.
I hope you have a good year Jazz. Looks like I won't be seeing you much.
$100 a month to watch D-Will and the rest of the Jazz!
I know it sounds cynical, but honestly the NBA is a business and the Jazz don't stand a chance in the end because they won't bring the big bucks.
Way to Go Larry. I guess that shows where your values are going!!
You say, "Grow up" and I reply that because I am grown up, I know enough to say that Cable TV has programs that are destructive. There are a few studies that show that teenagers that grow up with "premium channels" in their home are much more likely to have addiction to pornography. Which is the number one cause of child abuse. Just telling you the facts.
I won't have cable in my home for these reasons. I am very dissapointed in the franchise right now. I will probably watch a few of the 66 games that I won't be getting on weekends with friends, but for the most part, I'm just not going to be able to watch them.
This decision to only televise 16 games will halt the resurgence of "Jazz Fever" that we've scene these passed few years. Although the Jazz will make a few million $ more, they are selling their future by not allowing everyone to see the games.
It's sad.
