This story further enhances my admiration of D-Will. He is truly a class act and
I am so proud to have him represent Utah and the Utah Jazz.

You're the man D-Will! While us BYU fans and Utah fans are at each others
throats all the time, whining back and forth about each others' games,
it's refreshing to step back, talk about the Jazz, and watch Deron Williams
represent that state with such class.

D-Will is one of those people with a good heart and I am very glad to see he has
made Utah his home. All other members of the Jazz are working on their rap
CD's, living in their summer homes in Miami, or touring the world. Great
role model.

Thank you Deron! Thank you for being someone who kids can look up to! Thank you
for being a TRUE Role model. I get so mad when I see these other athlets who
think they are better then everyone and then they do really stupid and
unresponsible things that kids then think is cool to do because they saw there
favorite sports star do it. It is nice to have someone that is a truely
good-hearted person, that kids can model themselves after! Keep up the good
work!

D-Will has continually shown us how fortunate we are to have him on the Jazz.
Not only can he ball, but he makes a difference in others lives because he wants

Great to have someone like Deron with us here in Utah, reminds me of some of the
things Karl Malone would do when he was here. Deron was great to my 9 year old
at a golf course this past summer and he has fans for life from both my son and
me. Not many people can just show up and make someone's day, and even
fewer are willing to share their time.

I am a Jazz fan that is continually impressed by Deron both on and off the
court. I think everyone in Utah should be happy to have such a great player and
great person on the Jazz roster.

This is guys is almost too good to be true. He's on the best point guards
in the league by far, an MVP candidate, and Olympic Gold Medalist, and a
terrific public figure. I'm thinking you can count the number of
professional athletes as valuable as Deron on two hands.
Deron Williams is the best thing to come to Utah since the California Seagull.
Now lets pay him back! Vote him onto the all-star team, and get him the talent he needs around him to get a title.

Deron Williams continues to prove to the state of Utah how lucky we are to have
him here. He has remained a human being to all of us and continues to prove it
over and over by taking the time to give back with something more valuable to
many than money. His time is something that will touch each person that shares
it with him. He reminds me of another great basketball star from Utahs past.Keep
up the good work, and i for one appreciate what you continue to do for all of
us. You help keep the professional sports figure a human being.

I just continue to be impressed with D-Will's efforts to be part of the SLC
community. I know Karl Malone did so much while he was here too. D-Will is an
all-star on and off the court.

Deron seams to be a great guy. And many of the Jazz players give back. The
article last week said Ronnie Brewer gave $50,000 to Arkansas. Kyle Korver is
well known around the league for his charity. Boozer is the only one who seems
to lack in the Charitable/good guy department!

Thank you Deron for spending time with children who have autism. What a good
role model you are. I am friends with the Lund family and I can say that the
experience Beca (Rebecca aka the girl with the wild curly hair) had touched her
and her family more than words can express. You really are a class act!

its great to see D-Will help out in the community and represent the Utah Jazz.
I'm sure those kid will remember this day in there lifes. Same goes for
BREWER that gave 1/3 of his salary to the school that help him to this level. i
hope the rest of the millonians learn from this examples. can't wait to

Deron Williams shows up because he is required to. However when he shows up he
becomes real. I would like to know how many of us would show up on our own or

I remember the day we drafted D-Will, as a life long jazz fan that moment seems
as significant as Stocktons 1997 Western Finals 3 and every other highlight in
jazz history. I use to watch D-Will play at Illinois and just sit and wonder
what it would be like to have him on the jazz roster. I never thought we ever
would. Now looking back Williams have been everything and more than what I
thought he could be. He is one of the best individuals to ever don a jazz
uniform. He deserves every bit of praise he receives. It will be D-Will who
will be the first jazzman hoist the championship trophy, and I have a feeling he
will be holding the finals MVP trophy as well. Deron You have done as much in 3
seasons for the jazz as any other jazzman has done (except maybe stockton and
malone). I am grateful for that contract extention and look forward to watching
you show everyone why the Jazz select you and not Paul. Bring home the ship man
Utah is behind you all the way. Thanks for giving us a reason to be proud to be
utahns

I live in Illinois and followed Deron's career at the U of I. Of course,
he was my favorite player. I have never really followed the NBA until Deron was
drafted by the Jazz. Now I'm a true Jazz Fan and still a Deron fan. Who
else would stay up until 4:00 a.m. to watch him win a gold medal.
I think Deron has proved himself to your community. He is a great family man and his mother has raised him right.

He's not only a team player on the court but a team player when it really
counts. What a great way to show the he and the rest of the NBA cares. He's
a great role model. Those kids are very lucky. It kind of brings us all together
when someone does something like that for someone less fortunate.

As a Father of and Autistic 4 year-old I was truly touch by this story. D-Will
asked if he could get a tour not Center asking him to come as is the norm. that
show true character. It is people like D-Will that make the whole "NBA
Care" possible. My kids are Jazz fans as well and I will make sure I tell
my autistic son the Deron is on his side as well.
