BYU football: Big block for Cougars

Hopefully BYU will wake up.
Unga played a great game.
Defense - D-
If the defense continues like this, it will be a dissappointing season.
Quest for what...
We'll be lucky to win 9 games.
Magic happens.
After two weeks both BYU and Utah have won on the road against a BAD team and after Utah's win tonight, will both have won at home against a "lesser" opponent.
Looks like the stars are in line for a November show down!
Secondly it doesn't matter!!! WE BLOCKED THE KICK! GAME OVER!!
Oh and last of all there was a huge hold they got away with on the last drive!!!! Washington can't blame it on the refs. We beat them!
What's up with the defense? That was a horrible defensive effort. Bad, bad, bad.
BYU fans need to understand that they are not and will not be ready to compete against the top tier programs in the Pac-10, SEC, or Big-12. Fundamental changes need to be made before that could happen in recruiting and coaching.
Here's hoping that the "Quest for Perfection" is officially over next week!
Refs favor BYU again and really hosed Washington.
Washington got cheated!!
Its only a matter of time before BYU loses.
The defense was a total embarrasment!
I have spent some time in SEC country and have had more than one football fan note that PAC10 teams will not play without their own officiating crews.
So if Washington was cheated it was by their very own refs. It was a PAC10 crew running the show.
Jake Locker threw the ball backwards over his shoulder. Throwing the ball after a touchdown will get a penalty almost everytime. If you aren't certain just ask the PAC10 officiating crew.
The rough ending aside, BYU did in fact block the kick. Game, set, match.
To Coach Mendenhall, great game.
I'm not an expert but can I recite one cliche I've heard over the years?
Prevent defenses only prevent you from winning.
Maybe next time we can do some contained rushes on Jake Locker. That three man rush, even the 5 man rush without assignments was pretty scary.
Good game and I'm sorry the Washington crowd feels robbed. As they say in the Naval Fighters Weapons School (Top Gun): A wins a win.
We could also see Washington as a great run-up to UCLA. Same PAC10 speed, strength and athelticism. Our guys should be adjusted now.
Go BYU!
Also, it amazes me that the PAC-10 officials actually made a call (any call) that went against their PAC-10 team at the end of the game.
Lastly, Washington is a good home team and always has been. They have won over 70% of their games at home.
No one wants to acknowledge that BYU got a big win on the road against a BCS league opponent. We hadn't done that in a long while. Regardless how we got the win tonight, what matters is that we won.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Isn't it bed time for all of you babies?
A win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win...............is a WIN!
When it came down to it THEY did not execute. How many times did Locker miss wide open receiver? How many times did they drop the ball? How many extra points did they miss?
The cougars played lazy and still won. They won't be able to do it against UCLA. But Washington was not cheated.
However the magic continues to happen...its 4th & 18 and Collie is still open!
