Comments about ‘High school football: Copper Hills remains perfect by hammering Hillcrest’

I hope the Huskies enjoyed their two wins because this has been the average number of wins for a Mehrish led team the last three years. Does anybody else honestly see them winning any more games this year? I think they may possibly have a chance against Taylorsville as long as Mehrish doesn't take over the O.C. job in that game like he did two years ago when they lost to T-Ville. Oh, by the way, I hope Mehrish got a contract extension when he was still 2-0!

Oh well for Hillcrest. Their year will be next year when the starting sophies have a chance to prove that 3 years of varsity time paid off. I think if Merhish can't make it happen next year he should go somewhere else and maybe just ride the pine!

As far as Copper Hills goes, they will get dominated next week that's for SURE!!!! PG isn't going to let a team like Copper Hills hang with them PG was hanging with Timpview the third best program in the state!

I think you might be wrong about Copper Hills being dominated by PG. If you watched the Timpview game, you would have seen that Timp struggled and shot themselves in the foot several times. I think the PG/CH game will be just like last years game...a defensive battle. Good luck to both teams next week!!!

Great Job Copper Hills. They dominated us from start to finish. Husky football is still hurting from all the drama last year. Merhish needs to do what is best for the program and the student body at Hillcrest, and that would be step down. The situation from last year has done too much damage to this program that can't be corrected until Merhish steps down. I know he is doing his best, but the boys aren't fully dedicated to him because they can't trust him and his actions.

The Copper Hills - Pleasant Grove game should be a great game. Two great defenses with standout players that will frustrate both offenses. PG will want revenge for last year, and nothing will serve that better than beating the Grizzlies on their Homecoming

Copperhills will be crushed by PG!!! The Grizz only have two or three good players on their team and I don't thein they can stand the heat that PG will put on them. Beating a couple of alsorans doesn't make your program great. The Grizz will finish in the middle of the pack in their region and will lose big to riverton, WJ and Bingham.

Ok so pg hung with a newly running timpview team their first week big deal?!?! Timpview Played a great game and won on the road. Both your close games were on the road. Come down to copper hills on the road with an offense that is already running soundly and the number one defense in the state. It will be a great homecoming game since copper hills has lost there last three. They will be seeking some revenge.
