At 10 years old, Google pursuing endless ambitions

I wish there was a way to control the filth that is so pervasive. Some things I do not want to invite into my home - ever.
You know you have arrived at the world's biggest stage when your company name Google (a noun) has now become a common place verb ("Google it"). If only I would have bought a lot of their stock 10 years ago...
After millions of tax dollars were spent, we had the Internet. Without the Internet funded by your taxes, their would be no Google. Google shares sell for over $400 a share.
How many billions of wealth in the private sector of our economy was made possible by big government spending?
Like Rush Limbaugh likes to quip "it's wasn't a zero sum game!"
Even though the government started the Internet with our tax dollars...look how it's stimulated our economy. I'm sure they've more than made it back in taxes paid by google alone.
Also, I find it interesting that goolge's slogan is "do no evil" or whatever. As a school teacher that teaches Graphic arts and allows students to use the Interent, and as a parent, and as a human being...I wish that google did a better job of filtering porn and other trash.
They have done a fairly good job of keeping someone who in not looking for porn from accidentally finding it (comparatively), but, they need to do MUCH more to protect our children who often cave into curiosity and then get hooked.
Anyway, I use google for LOTS of stuff. Shopping, searches, maps, books, etc.etc.etc. LOVE IT.
