great game | 12:46 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
I really enjoyed watching the Davis Fans and their faces after the game.
What was going on on offense | 7:46 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
Davis looked like it didn't know what it wanted to do on offense. Kind of looked like grab bag football or dial a play offense.

Lone Peak would have dropped the Warriors. Davis football is not good enough. Lone Peak is the best football in Utah (and one of the top in the western US). Go Knights, Go Mcain-Palin...we are so blessed!!! AMEN.

Hey Davis | 9:17 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
That was a nightmare.... you should have just invited Ben Lomand up to Weber State to kick your trash!! You looked terrible. and to think, that Hawaii team is equal to a Utah 2A school. Paaathetic!
RE: LP Fan | 9:50 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
Save your comments for articles addressing your team. Please note that noone cares for Lone Peak, except for you and the quarterback's uncle from southern Utah.
You call that an Offense | 9:53 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
I dare you to play like that against N-Ridge and Layton- The score will 41-0 at halftime.

FYI dont go trashing this Hawaii team just yet. They're good enough in that they've beaten the number 36 high school in the nation several times over the past couple of years. And please dont forget the fact that both Hawaii and Samoa have the highest per capita rate of players in the NFL.
They'll be okay | 11:11 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
This game didn't look to good for the Darts, they'll turn it around though, they are still 2-1 going into the region. I still love Davis football
RE: Hey Davis | 11:36 a.m. Sept. 5, 2008
Kamehameha is the equivalent of a 2A school? In enrollment? In schedule? We play in the big school division in Honolulu (Interscholastic League). We are ranked #4 in the state. We beat Kuhuku 35-0 in our season opener (ever heard of Kuhuku?) I thought Davis was a very formidable opponent. They had an excellent Defense. The best we have seen all year.
Todd | 12:44 p.m. Sept. 5, 2008
Whoever got the idea that Kamehameha is a bad team is very ill informed. Kamehameha is known as one of the toughest teams in Hawa'ii. They just beat Kuhuku 35-0. The same Kuhuku that has beaten the dynastic skyline team in the ninties and in previous years. Hats off to them. You better find a way to move the ball the Davis, because as good as your defense is, its not going to be able to keep you in the game like that against teams like N Ridge and Layton in region. Good game though and i respect Kamehameha.
To Lone Peak | 1:04 p.m. Sept. 5, 2008
What's all this hatred for Davis coming from Lone Peak when you don't even ever play them in football? Weird. Funnny all the trash talk. I was cheering for you tonight to beat Timpview, but maybe I'll change my mind. Fat chance of that happening anyway.

Davis all the way!
Davis | 1:08 p.m. Sept. 5, 2008
Davis should havwe won by 3 TD's. Thay had the ball inside the 20 4 times and only scored once. The rushing game was grat as usual but the passing game slipped a bit. I'm still wondering why the passed 4 times from the 10 yard line with 1 minute to go and 1 timeout left and a firat down apportunity at the 4.
Blue Lancer Fan | 2:44 p.m. Sept. 5, 2008
Davis, you showed up and played Hawaii good. Best have a better offensive scheme for Layton. Can't wait til Davis visits Layton.

What's Kuhuku record this season?
Dart Fan | 4:17 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008
Davis had a good offensive scheme Todd. Their back ran up and down the field. Look at their total yards. Interceptions killed them, not the scheme, although I agree that they did look a bit flustered the last minute of the game. Why not pound it in from the 10 yard line? They must learn how to score in the red zone.
Touchdown | 4:46 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008
Welk's feet were in.
Play Calling | 4:49 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008
The play calling was the worst i have seen. The pick 6 was due to bad play calling. You have ran the same play and formation together 5 times before. You are in the red zone and you run the same plays. Davis only had 3 plays until the last drive.
1. Off tackle to number 2
2. Swing pass to number 2 (pick 6)
3. A seam that was pick off twice.

Number 2 is a great player but having over 30 toouches in a game. I dont think so.
Play calling 2 | 9:55 a.m. Sept. 7, 2008
Agreed with the play calling but the swing pass was not to #2, it was supposed to go to #8. The problem was not the run in the red zone but the pass. The run got them to the red zone and when they made it to the red zone they started to pass.
Kamehameha won, get over it | 1:17 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
Kamehameha didn't come all the way to Utah to lose. They fought hard and they won. All these comments about how the Darts should've won isn't going to change the score or the winner. Kamehameha is an amazing team that works hard and comes together when they need to. And all this talk about how other schools can beat Hawaii teams is bogus. Have your coaches invite Hawaii teams to play against you and we'll see who has the last laugh.
Todd | 7:56 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
Ya i didn't explain myself well enough. They need to be able to move the ball when the pressure is on them. Davis was great on moving the ball with the run game with a menacing pace, but once they got hurried the pass game faltered. Davis will be alright though if they have a tough week of practice. Also, they can't have the mind set that, "its just clearfield" this week.
Who's laughing Dude? | 9:23 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
Who ever said anything negative about Kamehameha anyway? Nobody dude. Yes, they were tough but Davis was in the game the entire night and had a chance yo win at the end. Had they scored points the other 3 times they were inside the 20 they would have won. Nobody is trying to change the score, just stating facts. Hawaii has great schools and it's a great opportunity for both teams to have the opportunity to play quality programs.
to Touchdown | 12:28 a.m. Sept. 8, 2008
he steped out of bounds before the catch. If any calls were bad they were against Hawaii. Accept the loss.
Touchdown | 11:50 a.m. Sept. 10, 2008
You can step out and come back in in high school football just so you know.
To Touchdown | 8:25 p.m. Sept. 11, 2008
I dont know what you are smoking but you cant step out and come back in it is called illegal touching which is a plenty even in high school.
