The only way I could see that not being the case is if her husband is planning on being a full-time stay-at-home dad.
I could say the same thing about your party, you know. It's those darn neocons that are always out bombing abortion clinics. Talk about hypocrisy. Take a life to save a life.
Bottom line: it's easy to generalize and demonize to make your stance seem more apropos, but that doesn't make it right. There are real people in both parties that care deeply about their country, even if they differ on the best course to be sailed. Shame on you and your blanket statements of hate.
FOR OBSERVER AT 10:AM - You're probably better off cleaning your toothbrush tonight - I doubt you'd be able to understand what is said by the grown-ups anyway.
It is about time we had a REAL choice and chance for change and I think McCain and Palin are a great ticket!
Palin has at least ran a state and balanced a budget. Has Obama had to do that...I think not...
Right on. Well written. Well said.
Palin balanced a budge? When she was mayor of Podunk Pole she inherited a balanced budget and left the town millions of dollars in the red.
She hired Ted Stevens's buddies to lobby for $27,000,000 of federal pork -- in fact, that pork ended up on McCain's anti-pork list!
She's cozy with the AIP, a group that hates America and wants to secede; here husband was a member for several years, and she attended their conventions.
She said she turned down the Bridge to Nowhere, when if fact she accepted the federal funds, abandoned the bridge project, and KEPT THE FEDERAL MONEY.
If you're too lazy to look up Obama's legislative accomplishments, too bad for you -- I've already listed them dozens of times on these boards for ignorant belligerents like you. Fine if you don't agree with what he's done. But don't ignorantly say he hasn't done anything.
Furthermore, it's THE MCCAIN CAMP that brought up Bristol's pregancy, and keeps talking about it in full victim mode -- nobody else besides People Magazine cares! They care about what a disastrous and poorly-conceived pick she is, and how badly it reflects on McCain's judgement.
He who is without sin, let him first cast the stone at her.
Nice try lefties, but on this one, you're really whistling in the wind.

Palin is currently under investigation for using her position to get her policeman ex-brother-in-law who divorced her sister terminated from his job. She is of course innocent until proven guilty.
McCain, a man that recently celebrated his 72nd birthday is a two-time cancer survivor who will be fortunate to live until inauguration. He selected a vice-president with no international experience and who has stated that she hasn't been following the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But fear not. Alaska is next to Russia, so technically she does have SOME international experience..
McCain's choice of this running mate is a grievous act of desperation, a betrayal to all that which we hold sacred in the institution of the U.S. presidency and recklessly dangerous for our nation. Furthermore, this act underscores McCain's profound disconnect with the average American voter.
God help this nation if McCain/Palin get elected this fall.
Now, look at Apollo's friends and what do you have? An extremely compliant robot of America Haters. Do we want that in the Oval Office? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!
Any Lib's for some Kool-Aid?
Sara is real genuine does not have a messiah complex.
The REPUBLICAN brand is so TAINTED, the word REPUBLICAN was nowhere to be found on the floor of the RNC. Of course the GRAND OIL PARTY is going to blast the opposition. The REPUGNANTS will spew their ROVIAN INDUCED venom. We have heard it ALL before. NOTHING NEW THERE.
PALIN will use this forum to define herself (with last second coaching of course from the RNC). The test will be how she stands up to the scrutiny of millions of Americans who have learned to discount most of the REPUGNANTS talking points.
And that is scary .....
So I say "Sara for President" .... and free beer at the bowling alley for everyone ....!! Then we can all go home, cash our welfare checks and play hockey 'til election day hoping our "blue collar babe" wins the experience war.
Nixon wrote many of his speeches. I assure you she has not had the time nor the experience to write this speech. She has been campaigning, campaigning, and campaigning.
I really like McCain going over to levi and bristol and saying, "Sorry." Sorry, my foot, who do you think made the decision to include Palin and thus all of this baggage and media scrutiny? John McCain.
Do not lay that issue at the media's door: John and Palin did it together, good family folks, who want to protect the famil.
hahaha hahyah ahahah ah hah ah ahahahah ahahahhaha
Such utter selfishness at the expense of her young family.
This is circa neoconism at its finest.
They really should think seriously about distancing themselves totally from the previous monstrous administration and declare themselves independent.
I can see Obama being an FDR. He will take a little recession and make it into a decade of worldwide economic pain. FDR was a disaster.
And Palin is a joke. With every passing day there are more revelations about her insatiable thirst for federal pork funds, her connections to lobbyists, her coziness with extremist groups, and her complete lack of qualifications. Now because a reporter asked her spokesperson what her executive duties were as head of the Alaska National Guard, and the guy had absolutely no answer, the McCain camp is whining about how hard the press is being! Then the MCCAIN CAMP reveals Bristol's pregnancy and parades the teens before the cameras so they can continue pushing this bogus theme of how victimized they are by the media.
Call a translator! McCain's campaign is talking again and I don't speak Whinese!
McCain chose a woman because... she is a woman... and not because she is good or qualified.
