Say all that you want - the y hasn't won non-conference road game since bronco took over!!!
I can't wait to hear the excuses all the coog fans will be making when they lose. You will drop one of the games between Washington or UCLA - all the coog fans I know got pretty nervous watching that UCLA v. Tenn game Monday night. 3rd string QB looked pretty good.
1999- A late fumble as BYU was moving downfield secured the win for Utah.
2002-A very controversial BYU fumble on a quarterback sneak (or the BYU fumble on the three yard line later) gave Utah a win in McBride's last game.
2003-A late hit on 3rd and 15 by Ifo Pili on Alex Smith extended a Ute drive that ended in the only points scored in an ugly game.
2004- Utah killed BYU, no 'one play' would have made any difference in that game.
2005-A miracle touchdown on 4th and 25 (very similar to a certain 4th and 17 I remember from last year) during the 3rd quarter staved off a crazy BYU comback. The Curtis Brown drop didn't help either.
Utah fans can talk about the 'shoulda coulda wouldas' all they want. Just remember BYU has a few of their own. That's what makes this rivalry great; one play could have changed the outcome of 9 of the last 10 games.
You can't have it both ways buddy!
You need to come back down to earth, Ute fans, You haven't proven anything yet.
Name one GOOD BCS team (like top 10) you have beaten.
Didn't think so.
Hey Go ahead and continue to pound all the weak majors that are having down years, continue to talk that up like you just won the National Championship.
When the Utes choke again and lose 4 games this year what is your excuse going to be then? Injureies, coach whit, the refs its going to be funny to hear all the excuses again this year.
GO COUGS!!!!!
If you win 2 games this year, consider yourself fortunate. Foreget about all the talk of the glory days...keep things in the present please. Wait another 3 years for you get get ranked again.
We have been giving the UTES crap non stop since the game for not destroying you pathetic losers. You are from one of the best programs in college football and you guys COULDN'T MOVE THE BALL WITH OUT THE HELP OF MAJOR PENALTIES!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously the UTES are far better than your Michigan team, and frankly I am worried because I think they might even be better than us if they play up to their potential. Luckily they have yet to do that with KYLE at the helm. I am so glad he didn't come down here to the Y.
Your conference is pathetic and so are you for the amount of talent you have. If the UTES would have played well they would have destroyed you. You couldn't move the ball and your precious defence couldn't come close to stopping them while they were "playing to win the game"
Both BYU and UTAH would finish in the top 3-4 of the "BIG" 10 this year.
Again I'm scared of the UTES this year, and you are "lucky" you didn't get destroyed my friend!
I'll bet kyle inherited ronnie's old whiteboard that still has the 2 main yewt goals written on it in ronnie's handwriting:
1. Arrange games with big name schools who's programs are in a slump so we can get easy OOC wins that look good
2. Beat BYU
Yep, probably hanging on the wall right across from his desk so he can see it every day ("Hey Ludwig move over a bit will ya? I can't see my goals board!").
Jack Youngblood.
Everyone who knows anything about football probably already knows how he played in the playoffs and in the Super Bowl with a broken fibula. But that doesn't say how tough this character was.
He knew it was broken, he didn't have to wait for the doctors to examine the X-rays to tell him that, after all he was quoted as saying 'I heard it snap like a pencil' in a divisional playoff game of 1979.
Youngblood's aggravation mounted at an alarming rate as he sat their impatiently listening to the team doctor try to explain to him the severity of his injury. He recalled getting so angry at the doctor that he finally bellowed out 'Daggummit, it's Dallas, just tape the thing up.'
Youngblood said Merlin Olson had to be one of the toughest guys on the field. He recalled one time when a guy stepped on Merlin's hand with those nylon cleats. Ripped it wide open. He came back to the huddle holding it. Youngblood looked over, and could see all the bones. Youngblood almost fainted. Merlin said, 'Aw it's all right'. He stayed out there two more plays before we went to the sidelines.

First of all, Classy Ute Post.
Secondly, what is your national ranking there on the Hill?
Are you a Top Twenty Team yet?
Who even needs to go back to 1984?
Keep it coming with all of the circular reasoning, but you are still lacking.
Since Bronco and Kyle ave taken over the reins, it's always been the Utes laying on their backs looking up at BYU.
I haven't seen anything from Utah this year that changes anything.
Utes are wannabe's.
BTW--you are a BYU homer
UTAH 46
UNLV 0
Smacks of the Wyoming thing last year...Banner day for Louie, the D-line, and Mr. Johnson.
Big Daddy is jazzed...
Utah fans bring up Max Halls huge ears and lack of non-conference victories, and you go on to bring up your "top 20" ranking and 1984 fluke championship, then point out a 2-1 head to head advantage for Bronco, and finish it all off by calling the Utes wannabe's...
sounds a bit like the pot calling the kettle black...if you don't know what that means, ask someone...maybe somebody from up north, because I am not sure anybody in Utah County would know what that means...
