He's such a class act! Mitt Romney for President 2012!!!
Michelle | 1:58 a.m. Sept. 2, 2008
I pray that Romney's presidential aspirations are over.

I don't care about his religion, but I do care that the man has lied and I do care that he changes his positions over and over on issues depending on the crowd he is pandering to.

We need leaders with conviction and Romney's only conviction seems to be that he deserves to be President. If the Republican Establishment had their way, he would have been able to buy his way into office.

I'm so glad we have McCain and Palin on the ticket, although I would have been most happy with Mike Huckabee. But the conservative talk show hosts spread enough deception about him to ruin his chances in 08. He was also too much of a maverick for the Establishment but while the likes of Rush and Hannity were gunning for Huckabee to help pave the way for Romney, McCain quietly slipped in and took the nomination...serves them right.

Romney is a great national treasure. I hope he keeps his options open for 2012.

This nation could really benefit from this great leader.

Golden retrievers are truly loyal. Mitt is fake.

It's unlikely that a Golden Retriever would ever strap an Irish Setter in a carrier case to the top of a car.

Pleeeeaaaase, what an insult to Golden Retrievers.

Thanks for a wonderful column, despite all the naysayers, we'll be sorry, whoever wins.

Oh wow...some people here are bitter...I think I see a Huckabee supporter or two on here...still can't get off beating the flip-flop drum seven months after the primaries are over. I don't know but if you can't see for yourself that Mitt Romney has been absolutely selfless then you just don't know integrity when you see it. Regardless of past positions Mitt Romney is now fully in position to be a big national force. Maybe this is better for Romney. He can have influence without all the media attention all the time that being President almost requires now a days.

Sarah, no. I feel blessed knowing what ever the outcome it won't be Mitt.

It's a shame that the majority of Utah's vote based on a person's religion. They whine about Americans not voting for a Mormon and they vote for the same man mainly because he is Mormon.

We aren't stupid. It was this open hypocrisy that drove my parents from the LDS Church. My parents viewed people for who they were. They never just surrounded themselves with Mormons.

When my mother's LDS family rejected her sister for becoming Catholic, my mother treated her the same because they were sisters.

It's the Mitt's of Mormonism that make me miss integrity I witnessed in my Mormon grandfather. He was committed to the truth, even if it cost him.

Today, it's multilevel marketing.

Lee, you are right that Mitt Romney can take a punch. You won't find too many people in this world with his resiliency and drive. There's a reason why Mitt has been so successful in so many arenas.
Thanks Mitt | 7:03 p.m. Sept. 2, 2008
Thanks for the money Mitt.
Don't let the door hit you...
John
