who cares about past championships, your not getting one this year

I liked your post but the one weird point you made was the total number of state championships is kind of weird, when East was one of the "original 3" (along with West and South) for the state championships during the "prehistoric times" so they each have multitudes of championships.

If you keep improving like you did this last week you could contend for the 4A state championship.

Thats exactly like all the BYU fans that say, "Yeah utah is owning the all time record between us by twenty games, But most of those wins came with leather helmets" Does that matter? It's called tradition, Skyline has an amazing one as well. I think they were trying to say that both teams have some of the best traditon's and programs in the state. Only lately skyline has been winning with East players lol.

Where are the boosters now, bragging about how "They" decided to keep the coaching "in-house", because "they" ran the program"?

Where is the Principal who overlooked the student-athletes and allowed the boosters to push him around and pick a ineffective "never succesful" coach to give the Boosters' little kids the PT?

When is East going to "man-up" to the fact that the program WAS not well managed and boosters or not, look for a program that will represent the fine school that it is?

East needs to boot the boosters and get a quality person as coach, that will make the Boosters' kids earn their PT.

Time for you "Boosters" to get out of the picture, and let the Administrators do their job. Quit living your lives through you kids, and allow a coach in that is interested in putting the best players on the field, even if that means you poor widdle son watches from the sideline. The kids are going to need to get out from under their overprotective parents nest sometime. Their parents having money does not make them "special"

East only has more championships becasause they were one of the first highschools in the valley. Skyline wasn't built untill the 1950's. So great....you won championships before skyline was even a thought in an administrators mind. That has nothing to do with this years team and how they lost last night.

good fought game by both teams, if they both work hard they should both make some noise this year, Both teams have amazing coaches, in my opinion the best in the state

look at the video highlights, There was a 50-50 ball that was caught by both players at the end of the game and according to the rules it should have gone to the offense.. note that one, skyline got a HUGE break

the skyline guy had the ball before he hit the ground. Its kinda hard to see from the film but thats what happened at the game.

Skyline did not play to their full potential on friday night. They made several mistakes on the offensive line and defensive secondary. Skyline didn't play to their full potential and still pull out a win. You can't blame a loss on players choosing to go to Skyline over East. East came ready to play but couldn't pull through. So, al in all, East was very lucky this wasn't a blowout.

Skyline is not that good!
Alta proved that, by the way they dismantled Bingham! Skyline beat a very lackluster Bingham team. Bingham is not that good, this year. Bingham was over rated, and that was proven.
They also beat a very unorganized and disheveled East team. East isn't that good either.
So, Skyline struggled against a couple of middle of the road teams.
Skyline fans, don't get overly confident that you have arrived again. You will be returned to reality. Skyline was a power, but those days are far gone.

Are you joking? Alta only beat Bingham by eight points compared to Skyline beating them by seven. And now you're saying Skyline isn't a force to be reckoned with? Are you out of your mind? Skyline was, is, and will always be a power. So they have had a couple bad years, Alta and Bingham had a couple bad decades. Props to Skyline on the year, go show Alta were not the same team from last year.

C'MON guys this is not a chat room. Go talk about your "hobbies" to somewhere outs. skyline won its true. that doesnt mean that they will win all the games all the time. your own audience doent have enough confidence. now if im not wrong, east beat skyline last year. and only lost one game. whats up with skyline? i dont know. go check it out
