Since when did a degree in Journalism qualify her
for the second highest office in the United States.

Where is her legal experience. According to what I
read about her tenure as Governor of Alaska and her
dealings with personal problems, using the office to
get special travel deals, a new wardrobe for herself, etc., etc., etc., I shudder to think how
she will run the country if called upon to take over
as president some day.

Get ready, folks, for a rough bumpy ride if she gets into office.

Just observing her in action, if I were John McCain, I would dump her in a big hurry. She's
the reason a lot of people are jumping ship on backing him. So he made a mistake in selecting her,
be a man, admit it and go on. But he is so full of
himself he can't see it.
A Whack Job! | 11:53 p.m. Nov. 12, 2008
Wake up! Sarah Palin is such a whack job! I can't imagine spending time defending someone who cannot even put together complete sentences! Her entire rhetoric consists of misleading statements designed to 'trash' her opponents. All the while she lists topics that should be addressed without ever advancing one single solitary idea as to how to achieve the outcomes she proposes, let alone create a vision for our nation's future.

That people actually take her seriously, spend time to defend such a poor candidate for national office and see in her the salvation of the republican party is a real embarassment for our nation. Those who spend time trying to portray her as an able executive really need their heads examined. Whew!

Used to be Republican... | 11:58 p.m. Nov. 12, 2008
I always considered myself a republican voter until this election. The absolute lack of judgement shown by candidate McCain in selecting someone so unknowlegeable, so unprepared, so unable to speak coherently about national topics seemed so embarassing to me I began looking for another vision for America. I'm amused by all those who point to Obama's weaknesses to explain the republicans strengths. They were so busy talking trash they didn't have time left to tell America what they (republicans) would do if given the chance. The republican party got everything it deserved. I'm not troubled with one party running things. It would be great to see government move ahead with something, anything beyond the stupid gridlock that has been the hallmark in government for many years now.
