an knows so much, than he'll have the answer to this. What I want to know is, how did Hans Christian Andersen know about Barack H. Obamacon more than a century ago? Because Obamacon is straight out of Andersen's classic fairly tale, The Emperor's New Clothes. Old Hans Christian, who lived in Denmark from 1805 to 1875, had Obama's number down pat. All he needed was a good grasp of human nature. Obamacon's millions of immature O'bots are utterly self-deluded, but then they're not mental heavyweights anyway. The O'bots have their eyes shut tight, because looking at the reality of their idol is just too scary. O'bots live in Hope and Hype, reality is not their strong suit. They just yearn to see His Imperial Majesty's royal crown, his purple robes, his golden sceptre, his bejeweled throne. But it's all self-hypnosis. Scratch the Obamacon thin veneer of hype for a second and it peels off before your very eyes.

I bet the VEEP is going to be Mitt?.

Lets hope McCain will take Huntsman with him to Washington. Talk about a governor who knows nothing about his state....

Republican for Obama

Or it could be that Obama, naked, would be a vast improvement over Bush, or John McBush, fully clothed or armored.

Lost in Utah

I hope it's Mitt, that wil assure the defeat of the George Bushes and their ilk.

please not Mitt

I love Mitt and would love to see him as the VP. But Greg Curtis and several of his ilk and fasting and praying now that it will be Mitt so they can hold onto their jobs here in Utah. It's worth it to me to see Mitt not be the VP but play some other role with McCain in order to ensure Curtis is voted out.

With Mitt on the ballot, all those losers (Buttars, anyone?) Will roll to victory.

So I love you Mitt, but let us clean our own house here locally first and get rid of the riff raff.

Maggie

Hey "anonymous" - It sounds like fairy tales are about all you read. Ironically, Hans Christian Andersen likely would have been an Obama fan.

ONE OF US

ONEOFUSONEOFUS

Not important enough

Our gov. is not important enough to know who is up for vp. That is for sure. FYI, does anyone remember what McCain's mom called Mitt Romney? I do...

It does not matter anyway. The demos have a good ticket and McCain will show his dementia so much in the coming days that more people will ask openly:
Is he with us? My grandpa and McCain are twins, and both of them forget things, get things mixed up, and generally wander.

Obama: health, vitality, honesty, educated. Family man.

Knows the truth about Obama

Not important enough has not looked at Obama much if you think he is honest. He is the devil incarnate. Study who he is and you will change your mind unless it is stuck somewhere.

Mc Lame is a big enough disaster and if you add Mitt's the Pits to it there goes the US down the toilet

Read !When Salt Lake City Calls" an dthen see how sane it would be to have Romney as VP.

Ben Johnson

Mitt Romney is a brilliant politician and would insure a win for McCain as his VP. I hate to say it, but Governor Huntsman comes across as superficial amateurish upon comparison to Mitt.

Nancy Pelosi wouldn't know a gasoline pump if she saw one unless it was parked next to an abortion doctor's office.

I know that Obama's stage is a Greek temple, but it will, to a lot of people, also look like a Roman temple. Could it be that tomorrow night, on Barack Obama's Greek temple, somebody named Clinton will succeed in stabbing The Messiah in the back?

Sorry, but....

You can dream all you want, but McCain has chosen Tom Ridge and will announce it tomorrow.

Remember you heard it here first.

If it's

Mitt Romney, we can name them the McCMit team....LOL!!

I agree...I think it's Tom Ridge. He's the only chance McCain has of getting Pennsylvania. Romney may have done well in the Rust Belt in the primary...but he will do nothing for McCain in the general election. Those states will vote Democrat. McCain has got to pick someone who can help him in some of the battleground states....and that guy is not Romney.

Who's Tom Ridge?

Cats

Come on you guys. Obama isn't EVIL. He's just way far left and not qualified. I think he's a nice guy and well meaning. His problem is that he just doesn't have any substance or experience. He also has some really bad judgment in his positions and associations.

I think it's really sad the way everyone always sees the other side as evil. No one here is evil. It's just a matter of who has the best political philosophy, positions, experience, judgment and qualifications.

McCain was not my first choice. However, of the two choices, he is by far the best qualified for the job.

P.S. I HOPE IT'S MITT!!!

Ex-GOP, Go Bob Barr

Nail the casket. The GOP is DEAD. John McCain is a liberal tax raising, gun-grabbing, gay loving socilaist, and so is any Republican that supports him. This means Tim Pawlenty as well.

Barr '08

If I.....

recalled correctly, Tom Ridge was the first person to assumed the post of Secretary of Homeland Security.
