Now if only they could find some way to reverse CP in children who have it. That will be a real medical miracle.

Bill,

You are right. Still, I like to think that 34 babies were born healthy who would have had cerebral palsy if not for the magnesium compound.

That has to be a real medical miracle doesn't it?

2241 X 7.3% = 163.593.
Expected number of CP babies.

1/2 X 2241 X 7.3% = 81.7965
CP babies after placebo.

1/2 X 2241 X 4.2% = 47.061
CP babies after magnesium compound.

163.593 - (81.7965 + 47.061) = 34.7355
Expected CP babies minus actual CP babies.

Result: 34.7355 medical miracle babies.

Cerebral palsy isn't so bad. I have it, and I've been able to lead a full, rich life. Beautiful women are constantly flocking to me and begging for my attention.

I have CP. I am 41 and was born at 25 weeks in 1967.One question I have is, how do they know thay are preventing CP if a diagnosis does not come until about the 1st year?

I have a good life. I am married and have 4 beautiful, healthy children.

They follow for two years, so they statistically catch the cases that would have occurred at 1 year.
