Utah Demos have bad seats

And yet Utah Democrats persevere in the face of such blatant disrespect and foul treatment. How noble. How stupid! Why should Utahns go for Democrats when the National Democratic Party is so full of left-wing, out-of touch liberal elitists and lecherous, immoral Hollywood types! I don't blame Jim Matheson. Stay home from this snooze-fest!

Just goes to show you. The Utah Republicans must be right not to respect the Utah Dems. Even their own party shuns them. Time for them to shape up and join the Utah Republicans. Just think what a great state this would be if we didn't have those pesky Democrats around with another opinion. On the other hand, it certainly would make church boring with nothing to talk about except religion.

Two miles is walking distance, especially if one is concerned about reducing energy use.

The delegates should be happy that they were elected to go to Denver, regardless of the seating arrangements. We in Southern did't get elected would have been happy to have taken there place,
just to be at the historic Convention.

The Utah Democrats seldom get a good chance to feel the disrespect that their national party has for Utah. Yes, there is always plenty of happy talk, but actions speak louder than words. If they think they were disrespected at the convention, have they so soon forgotten Rep. Bill Orton, (D-UT 3rd District)? At least Matheson fully understands. The delegates should just be happy that they are not seated in a side room watching on TV.

Actions speak louder than words. There is a lot of great rhetoric at conventions and political speeches. Those "impulse political shoppers," that base their vote on the political rhetoric of politicians rather than their past performance, are betting on nothing more substantial than a variable wind.

If the delegates want good seats at a convention, they should switch parties.
Kurt Bestor is a delegate? | 1:11 p.m. Aug. 26, 2008
Kurt Bestor sold out to the holleywood/entertainment establishment? And I used to have such respect for him.

Hey Kurt, come on over to the Republican party and we'll have you compose the convention theme and put you to work rather than just give you a bad seat to sit there and do nothing.
