True, Steve. Its too bad that the material girl won't throw her support behind McCain. The world's a sadder place for it.

A weakness?

If John McCain can't handle the lack of support by Madonna, how is he going to handle criticism by North Korea and Iran?

2 bits

I doubt people who would normally vote for McCain make their voting decisions based on Madonna videos.

I would hope not many Obama voters are that shallow in their political research too.

Personally I don't think the Madonna video has any impact. It doesn't change any minds. The only minds I think it would affect are those minds that already thought McCain is Evil, and a continuation of every Bush policy, etc.

Open minds won't be affected by her message at all.

For those who don't know what all this is about, Madonna's concert video juxtaposed images of John McCain with images of Hitler.

The facile, sneering self-righteousness of the celebrity Left is just pathetic. Nothing is more revolting than the spectacle of an aging whore, except possibly the same spectacle coupled with cheap coffeehouse leftism.

man I wish I had a non-issue to spend my free time writing to the public forum about.

Thomas: And the celebrity right??? Yes, there are such people. Britney Spears has the "right" message. "We should just do whatever the President says." If you use these epithets for Madonna, what about Miss "what underwear?"

Thomas

Grover, Britney Spears is a moron. But what *she* said is simply mindless, while Madonna et al.'s "McCain=Hitler" is mindless PLUS offensive.

The neocon version of fascism in this country has been exposed in its entirety.

It's time to stop it.

Look Who's Right

Anonymous,

When you went to the leftist indoctrination seminar, and they handed out your marching orders and the reading materials that go with it, they should have taught you to read beyond the first page. I am sure that manual can provide you with a bigger vocabulary then "neocon" and "fascism", if you would just turn past the first page. After you do that and expand your vocabulary, then get the dictionary out and try to find the real meaning of some of the words you are using. If you applied that to the real world, with you eyes really open you might not be so bitter and hatefull.

You did write about a non-issue, Duh.
The biggest non-issue here is that we shouldn't care about the opinions of celebreties. They have no qualification and frequently no education.

Row to hoe? Are you a celebretard? As so goes Ben Affleck, so goes the country? I predict Gigli will be the new President.
