Women gain most weight if Obama wins? Because they'll all be on welfare and out of a job with nothing to do but sit around and eat?

Pelosi is right. Women will benefit from Obama's tenure, and so will men.
Right now, the gop economy is in the toilet and more and more women and men are on welfare and out of a job. Thank you el presidente and the gop oil machine. Thank you. kiss kiss

Go demos.

The Democrats need to speak more to the point, and worry less about being politically correct. The writers of this article need to say exactly what is at stake when it comes to women in this election. The whole issue is Roe vs Wade. If John McCain is elected, he will appoint judges to the Supreme Court who will overturn Roe vs Wade. That's what Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats should be pushing, and pushing hard in their speeches and ads.

If Pelosi said it, you know it's false.

What does Obama believe and how is he going to pay for all his programs? The Democrates have had two years to give the President programs. Bush has not vetoed very many bills. Where is the big ideas? I want to hear ideas and solutions not just "we need change". This election will make or break this country so be careful what you "vote" for. It is not about party lines it is what is best for America.

I think women in the rest of the country will recognize this but UT is hopeless. The LDS is responsible for the ERA being rolled back and that seems to be just fine with the LDS women who worked to scare us all about unisex bathrooms (my house has one; doesn't yours?)and women being drafted (where would the military be today without the women volunteers and which men are standing up for the draft?).

Can anyone explain how this article got the headline it did? I think it should have read. "Dems Think Utah women are uninformed and out of date." I read the article over 3 times to see exactly what "Women gain if Obama wins" and all I read was how Utah women are 15 years behind in "politics" and "behind the political curve". I guess they are if the political curve only takes a hard left.

Senator Obamacon has a habit of talking about the "change" we can believe, but refuses to tell us what "changes" are actually going to take place. Thats the magic fueling his candidacy.

Heres a glimpse of what Obamacon, Biden and the Democrats really mean by change:

Higher taxes. Bigger government. Liberal Judges. A massive government-run health care system. More federal regulations intruding in our daily lives. And a full-scale retreat in the war on terrorism.

I don't know about you, but that list troubles me. These policies could undermine much of the good work Floridas leaders have done in this KEY State that'll put McCain over the top, to keep our state safe, taxes low and our economy vibrant.

The good news is you can do something about it. Vote for McCain in 2008.

McCain favors businesses being exempted from providing medical insurance. What will it be like when 90% of Americans don't have coverage?

McCain favors privitizing Social Security. What's happened to your retirement account in the last couple of years?

McCain wants to give illegals amnesty. What will that do for competition for the jobs that haven't gone overseas yet? Everyone can't support themselves with pyramid marketing schemes...

Whats happened with our STATE run social security? will state run health care go the same way?
when did the economy go south? after the dems took control of spending
the dems have control of spending so why is our national debt so high? the president cannot appove a dime.
what will turning a capitolist country into a socialist(make nodoubt thats what is planned) country do to the economy. will there really be a redistribution of wealth as obama insinuates? NO he would have to redistribute his own wealth. Is he really going to raise taxes on the rich? sure but he will add loop holes and things will not change. check his finantual records and his wifes he does not pay his fair share. ask biden what he thinks of our bill of rights. "this was written along time ago and times have changed"
If you think there pulling out of iraq you have your head in the clouds they have both said they won't (but also said they don't support it) double talk.
bill clinton created this whole mess with our jobs going to china. Kinda funny how noone paid attention once monica was brought into the mix

on the other hand if the dems take office in two years the 2 juditial benches open liberal judges will be appointed. the second ammendment will be over turned along with your right to privicy (both obama and biden voted for the reinstatement of the patriot act (the modern day enabling act of 1933) because they know if they get the presidency than they are accountable for nothing they do, they don't have to answer to the courts or the senate, and they can enact any act they wish without appoval of congress (not that it will matter when they control every office)and without notifying congress or the people.
If they control every office than everysingle one of us WILL be treated like the youtuber at the debates. These people beleave the government is to control the people not the truth that they are only there to represent the people. That IS the socialist ajenda.
joe doe | 8:22 p.m. Aug. 25, 2008
if they win they will control every office in two years. and the time of united socialism will begin. think euusa or nwo.
It is dangerous for any one party to control every office of government.
