Curt Bramble is the Emperor who wears no clothes and who is just arrogant (and apparently stupid) enough to think that his peculiar penchant for public nudity will never come back to bite him.

As our soldiers in Abu Ghraib found out, it only takes one leaked photo of soldiers abusing prisoners to expose once and for all the abject depravity of so-called "public servants" run amok.

Now the world knows what I have known for the full seven years that I have had the displeasure of serving in leadership circles within the Utah Republican Party with Mr. and Mrs. Bramble, Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart, Mr. Cannon, etc.

But unlike all the other folks who are finally stepping up and admitting that they too have known who Curt Bramble is all along, I have not kept any of this a secret, as evidenced by the name of my primary political blog site, in operation for months now: "StalkingBramble." (Of course, the censors won't let me post the full URL. But you can find it if you think about it hard enough.)

Moral of the story: The Republican voters of Senate 16 must depose Curt Bramble this November.

I find it ludicrous that the d-news reports on a non-event such as this and completely ignores the extortion of Chris Gardner by Sen. Scott McCoy.

It demonstrates once again the media's bias against Republicans and favortism towards any Democrat or other liberal special interest group.

What happened to fairness in the media? D-news surely is not any kind of example of responsible reporting!

Pizza delivery disagreement vs extortion....hmmmm.

Geez...Just report the REAL news...Or are your reporters out trying to get another soundbite from Chris Buttars????

His behavior shows why Utah should not reelect bramble.

Don't judge him too harshly. Underneath that cast-iron exterior, Curt Bramble is an incredibly smart man with a heart of gold.

Nothing could be finer than having a competent and respectful female beat Bramble this fall in the election.

Vote for RaDene R. Hatfield district 16 voters.

Lets make a great change.

It's time for a change....the incumbents in this state have only shown arrogance and the false notion they are above everyone else.
Let them eat pizza... | 5:20 p.m. Aug. 23, 2008
The arrogance of some people. For some reason this man seems to think he is a king or something. He thinks rules don't apply to him.

Time for a change.

Bramble said that he did not want to pay for a pizza with his AMEX because of its high credit limit. Does that imply that he has very little money in his checking account? Check fraud is a much more serious problem than credit card fraud; paying by credit card is far safer than paying by check. I therefore never pay by check for anything if I can pay for it with a credit card. The fact that Bramble seems to mistakenly think that checks are safer than credit cards leads me to seriously question his fitness to be one of the leaders in our legislature.

It's the monsters of the freaking midway bramble. That means you use to live in the midwest not the east.
Send him back! | 11:53 p.m. Aug. 23, 2008
Bramble is responsible for bringing dirty politics to Utah. Let's send him and his pizza back to Chicago.

"There is a philosophical disconnect in all of that." -Bramble

Bramble, the only disconnect is with your pedantic logic. As a consumer you are perfectly capable of vetting the businesses you choose to patronize, businesses don't have that same luxury with their customers. Putting that aside let's assume you CHOSE to do business with an establishment you felt was truly unscrupulous, are you seriously putting forth the argument that you'd rather give them a check with your name, address, bank, routing number AND checking account number rather than an American Express card? Are you the worst C.P.A. ever?

If that is the way your brain works then you are truly unfit to represent your constituents, I hope they are wise enough to see that during your next primary (I know a democrat won't beat you in your district) and I truly hope that the other honorable Senators will remove you from your leadership position that you are all too apt to abuse. Luckily that chance will come within a couple short months. I know I'll be emailing my senator around that time and reminding him how I feel.

I always pay by check when I order pizza. Your all missing the point of the story here. What chain was this so I can boycot them. As for Bramble, I fail to see where he did anything wrong. It is not wrong to challenge a stupid rule. Cash or credit for pizza. It must be a Provo thing maybe the BYU or UVU students bounce a lot of checks. Now thats a story.

I was present in '02 at the ironman race, as part of the medical staff where a man drowned during the race.

Mr. Bramble in the media accounts painted himself as a superman who singlehandedly navigated the boat in rough waves, identified the man in trouble, dove in to save him and preformed CPR while driving the boat back to the harbor.

In reality Mr Bramble only drove his boat. A female doctor who was in the race found the man flagged down the boat, and preformed CPR herself. An ironman volunteer was the one who jumped in to help out but Bramble about ran him over with the boat. Later on shore as the ambulance was pulling away Mr. Bramble was more concerned about His prop being bend and having the race cover the damage than the tragic events that just took place.

Good for the Pizza Girl for exposing Mr. Bramble for what he is.

It's not a chain -it's a one man restaurant and it's the best pizza in Provo. You shouldn't be boycotting the place, you should be eating there to show your support for Anna. A business has a right to collect funds in whatever way they want, especially if they've dealt with deadbeats who write bad checks. The owner was going to make a concession to take Bramble's check when Bramble paid with credit.

The pen is mightier than the politician's mouth.
