Comments about ‘Jeffs, 2 others indicted on felony bigamy counts’

This looks like clean up work from the last grand jury session where only one man was indicted on felony bigamy counts. Somehow one guy from the last indictments escaped felony bigamy charges.

Given that there were five major indictments last time and this time there are three minor indictments, one has to ask what happened? Were there other court matters heard that day, so only three charges were handed down?

Or is the grand jury nearing the end of the process when it comes to the FLDS?

Texas said there were ten cases where underage girls were married to older men. Where are the other five? Is Texas still trying to gather enough evidence? Was this session a breather and next session will be more serious?

Also what is going on with the cases where something like 20 women were in the past married off as underage girls?

And, Merrill Jessop has faced no charges, nor has his wive, both of whom seem to be active in inappropriately marrying off their children.

If these are all of the charges that are going to be brought forth, good luck defending an entire search of the ranch.

this little girl was old enough to be married, yet crying for mother, mother, dont let me go. i wonder how many of these inbred children are mentally retarded?? if these people want to put this on their website, they should also put on the fact that she is supposedly a married woman and the mother sold her to a icky old man.

First of all the girl was not video taped at home. They were in front of the CPS office in San Antonio.
And anyone who would videotape such a thing, as this child in hysterics should be arrested. Whats worse, It was family members doing it! How could supposingly loving "mothers" do something like this?
Its quite evidence, this 14yr old girl, who was married at 12yrs old is extremely immature. And "if" there was a purpose for doing it? They defeated their own purpose. It was disqusting for mothers to do something like this, for the world to see.

Gal 50......I am not sure how those guys do the charges for bigamy but of the ten girls four are attributed to Jeffs and two were mentioned for Merril.
I guess if and when they release the inditements they number will be listed.

I watched the home video of the Jessop girl being turned over to Texas CPS. All I can say is, it's the best piece of acting I've seen in a long time. The girl deserves an Oscar. The girl was really carrying on, but I didn't see one bit of emotion from Barbara. Stands to reason that if your daughter is being ripped away from you then you would be visibly upset too. And of course, Merril was nowhere to be found. What a coward!

I don't recall seeing any court ruling that the search itself was illegal nor have the courts ordered documents to be returned to the FLDS. At this point, the documents are admissible.

Warren Jeffs = TRASH!

The whole emminent danger refers to an emergency removal. This is not an emergency removal.
The danger is from a man that is not there ....other men who are a few hundred miles away, a father who can't be found ........and last but not least a mother who CPS thinks can't keep her away from men who aren't there.
The last thing CPS wants is a girl to be in danger from persons who might let her "marry" someone who might have married someone else who could have married someone when there is absolute proof that she kissed someone that is locked several hundred miles away in another state.
The fact that they have diary references that refer to yhe girls desire to consumate her love with a man locked away........really looks bad...
So there ya go........she is being protected from doing what she wants to do with a man she can't do it with unless she burrows thru several feet of concrete.
