Way to go Tialavea! I hope the hard work pays off. Opponents are going to hate a "slim" 300 pounder smacking them in the face! I love it! Go Cougs!

Excited for D-Line | 10:32 a.m. Aug. 22, 2008
I usually don't get too excited about the kids in the trenches. But this season is turning out to be special for both the offensivie and defensive lines. I don't remember when we have fielded a better combination of both. Imaging when Dulan gets all the way healthy and Bernard gets up to speed. This d-line will be deep and talented. Our linebacker inexperience may not be as big a deal if no one can get past the d-line to begin with. And as excited as I am about this season, I can't help but peak ahead to next as we are going to have the most experienced and talented defense in years and years. Combined with all of our skill positions back I really think a solid 11 win season this season will set us up for a real shot at the NC next season.

The best... | 10:59 a.m. Aug. 22, 2008
For those of you who don't know, watch this guy. He is one of the best, if not the best in the West. We haven't had someone quite like him in the middle in quite a while.

Come on Teddy, you know that Tialavea will be licking his chops come the end of November! After all, he watched Jan Jorgensen terrorize your o-line last year. Now it's his turn! When your o-line has to double team Jorgensen AND Tialavea, then what? You guys are toast. I hereby dub your o-line "Wet Charmin".

By the way to the Ute fan that dished Russ you have to have a line first to do that!

Once again Utah Utes Blau, Blau, Blau "newer come back" Blau, Blau...

Hey, hold on their Ute fans. I thought Utah was the only team in the country that had injured players players last year. I mean, that is why they lost all those games, right.

But no, didn't they beat UCLA with their best players out, and get shutout by UNLV, loss at AFA and wasn't the loss at BYU with BJ there (and 4th and 18 thrown by a QB with a 3rd degree shoulder seperation).

Man, I just wonder what the excuses will be this year. It's so hard to keep the excuses straight.

We need Ernest T. Bass to come out of hiding and give us the scoop on thise, because nothing is ever complete without his hillbilly "per-spec-tive".

Ernest T., time to throw a rock.
