how did she lose her shoes?
She was mugged by a dancing bear.
Without shoes you are not a hiker. Something else is going on.
Rangers are looking for a brown bear, approximately 6' tall, 350-375 pounds, wearing purple and gray Nike Cross Trainers. Answers to the name of Bridget. After rifling through several garbage cans the bear was last seen leaving a local campground, on foot. Bridget should be considered armed and dangerous and not in the mood for any wisecracks about bears in tennies.
how does a "hiker" get sunburned while lost overnight. Moonburned maybe but not sunburned unless out a lot longer than the evening.
How does one get "lost" in slate canyon. it is about 30 feet wide and if you go downhill instead of uphill you can get out. . . . Just like most canyons. I smell some fish and there are none in slate canyon
we take it upon ourselves to go out into nature, and into some of the most rugged isolated country out there and yet we still failed the "Be Prepared" test.
Come on people, use your head when you are out and about in nature. Remember "there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing." In other words, "Be Prepared."...........LOL!!
