I applaud you for recognizing the gerrymandering that took place in the "blue districts" of Utah, which split them to make voting difficult. Thanks for getting some action there, and hopefully, our legislature will grow in Democracy so that the districts can be reshaped to reflect their constituencies.
Are we supposed to believe the Bush administration policies over the last 7+ years are examples of successful conservative policies"
Oh Yes... bdg,
Bush and McCain are both millionaires according to the last financial statements they filed. McCain has net assets of between $20 million and $32 million, making him the seventh wealthiest member of the Senate. His wealth is tied to Cindy Hensley McCain, his second wife and heiress to Hensley & Co., a major Anheuser-Busch distributor.
"This is an impressive crowd - the haves and the have-mores," Bush said, adding, "Some people call you the elites; I call you my base."
The article was about getting involved at a young age, and the young man in the article has certainly done that. I don't agree with his choices, but he is certainly involved and not one of those who have lost their minds in video games or partying every night.
I would rather have an educated man who is smart the president than somebody I would feel comfortable to have a beer with at the corner bar.
Americans: this is real! It is not us or them it is US the USA we need somebody smart in the presidency and congress.
From the exact same place the Democrats get theirs - from the ranks of professional politicians.
Way to go, Apollo!
Being a guy you'll probably have to settle for a handshake with Barney Frank.
Hide your iPod and wallet if you meet Al Sharpton. Don't look Robert Waxman in the eye. The same with Barbra Streisand.
Iam so proud of the adult you are becoming! Keep up the good work! Don't let anyone bring you down for what you believe in. Be a leader, not a follower.
