Hopefully Region 4 learned their lesson last year. That would be not to trash talk on region 1 because they're not as bad as you think. If you don't beleive me just look at last years first round. Region 1 went 3-1 versus Region 4. Not that last year even matters but its like what Rafike in the Lion King says, "You must learn from the past".

SF Football

Until Spanish Fork starts playing people based on skill and talent and not based on your last name or if your dad is buddies with a member the coaching staff they will continue to be a mediocre team. I have watched many years of SF football and see only a handful of players get in the game that are not starters. Successful teams become dynasties by having depth year after year. Every year should not be a rebuilding year. When all you play are seniors and one or two superstars, when they graduate you are back to square one.

I predict Salem Hills and Maple Mountain getting an influx of players from Spanish Fork looking for a fair shot and they will surpas Spanish within just a couple of years.

Football

They didn't play all seniors last year. This has been the year these so-called coaches have been waiting for.

EVERY year is the year they have been waiting for. I just hope Wilson can live up to the hype. I have friends on the team that said he started believing all of the hype about himself and wasn't working as hard as the rest of the team. Big test next week against Alta.

SF

SF does not have the horses you need to compete at a high level. The Dons are undersized at almost every position. As a fan I want them to succeed, but I don't see it happening. We do have some talent in the soph and frosh coming up, but they could end up at mapleton.
Good luck Dons!!!

Timp

Go ahead and rank the Timpanogos team dead last. The coaching staff does not run a good program, and the defense was the worse in the state. Without an offense scoring 45 points a game, the team is in big trouble.

True SF Fan

wow and you call yourself SF fans, thats sad. SF football, you must be related to someone on the the team who isn't too good, cause it sounds like you are trying to justify the fact that he isn't playing. every coach no matter who it is, is going to play the best 11 player he has, no matter what. i would like to see you back your statement up with some proof. the only "big" last name in spanish fork that is even playing much this year is Binks and he's legit. you cant find someone on that bench thats better then he is. sorry. oh and all the coaches "buddies" have kids that are still in elementry. i dont see any elementry school kids out there, do you? this year isn't a rebuilding year. last year was, and they still had a respectable year, they did alot of great things. don't try to degrade these coaches who put in a heck of alot of their personal time for these kids because someone you know didnt play. each of these coaches are men i respect. go get em dons!!!

Coaches

I have no respect for these coaches. The things I have heard from current and former players about how things are ran would shock you. I don't agree with last year being the rebuilding year... If anything it is now. Last years seniors were under-utilized and they could have done a lot better had the coaches used them. It will be a long disappointing season for the Don's.
