Way to go girls. I'm so very proud of you.
.......that so far I haven't heard of any of our Mormon women that are beach volleyball players.
And on that note, just let me ask, would any man give a hoot about the over-promoted (ten ads on NBC for beach volleyball for every one ad about any other sport)"beach babes" if they wore long baggy shorts to play in--like the men's teams do--and a t-shirt with USA on it??? Me thinks not.
And yet those 2 gullible (or just plain stupid) girls are completely convinced that everybody just loves their ability, and cares about their sport, or their past wins, or anything to do with them being in the Olympics. But you take away the bikinis and the rolling around in the sand, and they would barely get mentioned.
So you Mormon women Olympians, I for one, will be cheering for you for a lot more than your athletic talents. GOOD LUCK!!
