I don't see why you should be embarrassed that someone saw you breastfeed your baby. For heavens sake, that is entirely natural!

As for childbirth, when I gave birth to my fourth child, I labored naked because I was uncomfortably warm, and I didn't care one bit who saw me. But maybe that's because I was in Sweden. . .

Haha! You sure are making it much easier for us! It's so nice to see your column tell the brutal truth and validate the life and experiences of us everyday moms! However, while your little girl enjoys songs about cottage cheese, my babies prefer adult music, like the Gypsy Kings. I've been known to belt out "Bambaleo" in public a few times.... You just don't realize you are doing it!

This is so true! You actually made me laugh out loud. You have such an amazing way of writing that it brings you right into the Olive Garden and allows you to enjoy these moments too. It is so nice to know there is others who puts the kids first and the onlookers last.

I always smile and sometimes giggle as I watch other kids doing things because it makes me feel good that mine aren't the only ones embarrasing their parents.
